I keep getting the Sunday scaries and then remembering that I’m going to a virtual conference Monday through Thursday, so I’m going to be HOME all week except Friday!!!!

Our super session today was led by @amycuddy and was all about being present for our patients and being confident. Amy talked about the use of open/expanded body positioning and it’s effects on confidence and feeling empowered. She has an awesome TED Talk on this subject. Thursday is exam day.

I'm at a virtual critical care nursing conference this week, and each day we have an opening session to pick, one SuperSession that everyone goes to, 3 regular sessions to pick, and 1 closing session to pick (except today, since it's the last day, our closing session is just a wrap up with info on how to get CEUs/CERPs and info about next year's conference). I went to a session about TTM for the opening session but then I unintentionally signed myself up for 3 EKG sessions and WOW. The first one dealt with ST elevation, axis deviation, and right vs. left BBB; this second session was specific to BBB, hemiblocks, and bifascicular blocks, and my last session at 4 is all about bradycardias and heart blocks.... learning so much!

My conference cut out 1/3 into the first session. My laptop and internet are working fine soooooooo I'm hoping it's because it was the "opening words" and EVERYONE is watching that session, and that the smaller sessions will work? It doesn't start till 1 though and it's only 11:30....

God has a plan. He knows what He wants for us. Not in our own pace but in His time. He knows what I have been through this past year, and this achievement may seem easy for others but not when you’re dealing with a lot in your life. I wasn’t planning on posting this but I thought I need to, not to gain likes but to inspire people that things will come in the right time. In His time. Also to inspire my former students to keep dreaming for more as learning never stops. And no matter how things are going on with our lives, there will always be that ray of light that will shine through in our darkest hours. We just need to have the courage to take the first step and trust ourselves that we can do it. Let’s give ourselves a high five ✋ everyday for for a job well done.
