Cartoonist Chan Lowe reports he is moving across the country to a new newspaper job this month.

"I’m leaving South Florida to join the Berkshire Eagle in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, as deputy editorial page editor. I’ll be editing, writing editorials, producing columns, drawing local cartoons, and will continue drawing syndicated cartoons for Tribune Content Agency."

Lowe drew for Fort Lauderdale's Sun-Sentinel from 1984 until he was laid off in early 2015. Lowe has been a John S. Knight Journalism Fellow, and was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in 1990.

Big congrats to Matt Bors & the Nib! The online site is one of the first webcomics archived in the Library of Congress. The Nib was included with the new Webcomics Web Archive, along with “Hark! A Vagrant!”, “xkcd“ and 30+ other cartoons.
