lavellan: probably something like “beanpole” -- which i guess is ironic because rook is tiny but like comparatively still much taller than varric, man, this has so many layers

What’s their favorite location to travel to, if any?

lavellan: the hissing wastes for romantic dates with dorian. alternatively (even though it makes him kind of sad), he likes going to the emerald graves and vindictively claiming things for the inquisition. also to scare dorian, because there are two things he knows about shems: they love andraste and they are terrified of elven curses

adaar: hahaha i think honestly she likes going to val royeaux and buying things for josephine whether josephine is there with her or not. josie thinks this is an irresponsible way for mynah to spend the inquisition’s funds but is secretly very flattered and, hey, she got a discount and IT’S NOT LIKE I TOOK THIS FROM THE TREASURY, JOSIE, I LOOTED THIS OFF A CORPSE MYSELF

he’s a little bit starstruck by hawke–he read the book, after all. but also it’s my hc that malcolm hawke was dalish (or maybe one generation removed–i’m not fixed on this really) and so rook and hawke are actually distant cousins ;)

but within his clan, he really looks up to the keeper! since he was her First, he was intimately aware of how much power and wisdom she wielded and how much responsibility was on her shoulders; in all honesty he was nervous about taking that on but then he tripped and accidentally became the leader of a religious social movement

also i think he really respects and is sort of intimidated by vivienne–she’s a totally different sort of authority figure than what he’s used to and even though their views on magical control are WILDLY different, he’s still pretty in awe of her, shem and all

he really likes citrus!! so more than either of those things he really likes tart flavors. in terms of desserts and the like though i think this translates more to sweets. he likes fruit pies and tarts and cakes
