In other news I was inspired by the heatherswap to do some trollhunters roleswap as well but its also a species swap ;))

Troll versions of Claire, Toby, and Jim plus human Arrrggh, Blinky (his canon design because I have a great love for it) and Draal (whos the trollhunter in this)

Jim is also half-changeling because i also have a great love for jim being part changeling in general and his father was a changeling trollhunter (switched roles with Kanjigar) I havent worked out the entire thing yet buT-

My belief is that Blinky single-handedly seduced Aargh away from his life as Gunmar's general. Maybe he was captured at some point and held prisoner, and Aarrgh became fascinated by his eloquence and knowledge, and how kind he was to Aarrgh as well. They escaped together and although they didn't become mates for a while after Aarrgh harbored a crush on him from the start. I'd love to hear what everyone else's headcanons are too!

blinky learns what kissing is and smooches aaarrrggghhhh, but it doesn’t work very well because of their big sharp teeth. alternative scenario: blinky kisses aaarrrggghhh a lot when he’s human because he knows it’s how humans show affection

blinky after he regains his troll form, thinking aaarrrggghhh will show him affection again, but he keeps pushing him away and blinky doesn't know why

Aarrrgh often has trouble sleeping, kept awake by memories of his previous Gum Gumm life. But listening to Blinky ramble about literally any subject, or putz around in his library, or trash talk someone else in trollmarket puts Aarrrgh at ease, and he often falls asleep while Blinky continues without immediately noticing. When he does notice he'll say "rest well, dear friend" and tuck him in with a huge blanket they took as a souvenir from the human world.

Now that Blinky knows how to drive (SORT OF) he and Aarrrgh occasionally go on night adventures, partially as an excuse for him to practice driving (or not crashing). The car leans extremely heavily on one side due to Aarrrgh being crammed in it. They have a little tour going with Aarrrgh taking bites from landmarks in different towns. It eventually comes up in human newspapers and Jim has to tell them to knock it off.
