The kind of ones which you have to experience yourself. Udaan is one such for me. By far one of the best films Indian Cinema has ever made. The movie gives a brilliant take on an adolescent who has stepped into his teens and how he faces a tyrannical father, a step brother he never knew existed and how he eventually breaks the shackles and frees himself from a world that's slowly suffocating him. Gem of a screenplay from Motwane and Kashyap, closer to life acting from Rajat Barmecha and Ronit Roy( who has portrayed one of the best negative characters we've ever had with such finesse), quite an exceptional soundtrack from Amit Trivedi (who was then trying to establish himself in the industry) and masterclass direction from Motwane in his directorial debut.
