As cynical as Amelia tended to be, the idea of a ren faire sounded fun, so she was all too happy to volunteer to run a both for the crystal shop, figuring it'd fit right in with the sale of things like crystals and potions (soaps and essential oils) for protection and healing and all that. Lighting up a lavender-scented incense cone, she gave a little smile to someone who was walking nearby. "I promise it doesn't all smell like patchouli over here if you wanna check anything out."

"I've spent most of the day blowing bubbles out to entertain the little kids, haven't really seen much just yet." Lucy, dressed up as a Fae for the occasion waves her 'Fairy Wand' made out of a long bubble wand, with a few gems stones glued on marked with dried bubble liquid. "I forgot how much energy it takes to amuse kids, I haven't babysat since I was a teenager." She mindlessly picks at a clump of glued glitter from her DIY wings, before finally turning her attention back to the individual she'd been chatting with. "Found anything you like around here?"

"I spent an embarrassing amount of time on this." Lucy was never going to get all the glitter that didn't dry on her fae wings out of the carpet. "But I think it turned out pretty!" Dressed as a Fae in baby blue, she'd spent most of the day blowing bubbles from her 'wand' to entertain the little kids. "I'm running out of bubble mixture, though. I got a little too excited with it."

"That was a rip off." Connie mutters before she'd even had the chance to taste her Chilli Con Carne in a styrofoam takeaway container. Not exactly a Renaissance dish, she notes, but it was the only choice that looked somewhat appetising.

Layla flicks through the eclectic assortment of coat hangers and garments they carried. She wasn't prepared for this event in the slightest, not knowing many people who donned enough flowing clothes to borrow to fit such a theme. So the laciest blouse that somewhat looked on theme would have to until she found some knock off costume at the store to look like she was actually putting in effort. "Sorry, can I just grab that.... that shirt behind you?" Layla tries to catch the attention of the younger stranger standing in front of a garment that promptly caught her attention, just somewhat out of arms reach.
