where: rooftop of ocean crest, ravi’s birthday
"Hollywood! You're here!" Ravi's excitement made it sound like he personally invited Roman rather than his sister firing off a mass invite to most of his Instagram mutuals but the hows and the who's of it didn't matter when he got to spend another sliver of his birthday with another person he cared about.
( The perfect way to. )
"Don't tell anyone--" He pleads with him as he leans in so he can lower his voice to just above a whisper, sharing a secret that shared itself if he was observed for longer than a minute, "--But I am wasted."

"Try this." Layla pushed the cocktail Roman definitely didn't order over the counter, motioning for him to try it. "I get bored during lulls and experiment with making drinks. Been workin' on this one for a few weeks, kinda a take on a Moscow mule. First time 'round, I put way too much ginger in it, but it'd knock a cold out of 'ya if you needed it to."
Layla: I found the perfect costume for the Renaissance Fair. Layla: Months after the damn Renaissance Fair. — @romanphoenix
WHO: @romanphoenix WHERE: Costume shop at the Ren Faire
Layla flicks through the eclectic assortment of coat hangers and garments they carried. She wasn't prepared for this event in the slightest, not knowing many people who donned enough flowing clothes to borrow to fit such a theme. So the laciest blouse that somewhat looked on theme would have to until she found some knock off costume at the store to look like she was actually putting in effort. "Sorry, can I just grab that.... that shirt behind you?" Layla tries to catch the attention of the younger stranger standing in front of a garment that promptly caught her attention, just somewhat out of arms reach.

closed starter @romanphoenix location: alley behind oasis
Miles was no stranger to Oasis. Maybe he didn't go as often as he used to, but sometimes he just needed the thrum of a bass and a floor to make a fool of himself on. It was one of those nights and he was already working up a sweat as he excused himself from the club and into the alley for some cool-ish night air. There was a light, a shitty one, but it was enough that he didn't trip over his feet as he emerged into the evening, eyes shut and his head tipped back to take it all in. The sounds of a commotion had him flicking them open though, a couple of figures just out of the range of the dim light catching his attention. Was it a fight? Fuck if he knew, but it sounded like it was about to get heated, at least for one.
Miles squinted through the dark before pulling his hands out of his pockets and up into the air. "I don't want any trouble, but if there's beef, trust I'm here to eat. You ok?" he asked as he approached, directing his voice to the one figure that seemed a bit backed into a corner.

Kat had been standing there, holding the shopping basket for what felt like forever. She'd been up and down the isle twice already, with no luck. Brow furrowed, green eyes narrowing as she glanced up and down the shelves until she heard another person enter the isle. Chewing the inside of her cheek, Katrina glanced over, trying to fight down the blush that threatened to color her cheeks. "Look, I hate being this person, but can you spot the sprinkles? I swear I've looked everywhere."
