"God, it's relentless out there. And to top it off, one of those horses was looking at me funny, as if it were getting ready to charge at me."

That was all she needed, to make enemies with a four-legged creature.

Amara's currently cuddling a very squirmy puppy against her, cooing and making kisses at the young dog between words. "I knew I'd want to take one home..." The Valentine-themed menu is adorable, of course, but the heart-covered bandanas the dogs in the 'pup room' are wearing are really selling things. starter for: open (closed) where: driftwood coffee speed dating event This is not something Jase would normally do, but after being somewhat of a shut-in recently, at the recommendation of a colleague, he decided it was time to get out and mingle--or at least attempt to socialize quickly while on micro-dates with mostly strangers at the coffee shop! It beats the endless swiping of dating apps, though. He gives a friendly, somewhat awkward smile as a person approaches ahead of the next round. "I think this is officially one of the weirdest things I've ever done," he says with a smile. "How about you?"
