it’s march 20th! that means this blog is...

TEN FRICKEN YEARS OLD. HOLY CRAP.

(and also means it’s the 7th anniversary for aladdin on broadway uwu)

ten years ago on this day, i was bored during a spring break of college and i had been eyeing the rping community on tumblr and found a new group that had an opening for a bunch of disney characters. aladdin was (and of course still is) my favorite disney films and decided i’ll make a blog for him. and wow i didn’t know what would follow it.

i say this every year on this day, but i’m so grateful for this blog and the aladdin franchise for bringing me so many amazing memories and wonderful people into my life.

while i know i’m not super active right now, i still love aladdin deeply and want to write more for him in the future. he’s truly my most cherished character i’ve written for — i mean it makes sense since i’ve had him for so long.

this blog has seen a lot, been through a lot, changed a lot, and ... i don’t know where this train of thought was going but i still love it a lot.

thank you to all my followers both new and old, whether you came for the aladdin content or my writing for him. thank you to all the friends i’ve made throughout these past 10 years that helped me have fun with this creative outlet of rping for this doofus.

i really want to see what other fun adventures i’ll have with him in the future.

hi hello al here to say that today, march 20, 2020 is this blog’s 9th anniversary today aaaa [and also aladdin on broadway’s 6th anniversary!]

i just want to take a moment to thank everyone, whether you’ve been here since 2011 or just followed a few days ago, for following this street rat, who has taken me on a lot of adventures the past 9 years, both on and off magic carpet rides.

he really is my favorite character of all time, disney and non-disney alike -- and he has his flaws, as do i, and all his little quirks and whatnot that make him aladdin just makes him such a joy to write [even with my occasional hiatuses here and there]
