Neverwinter (Xbox One)

So Neverwinter released on the Xbox one, and it’s pretty mediocre. It’s nowhere close to being as good as the Neverwinter Nights games, and those were more fun with more people as well. I do like that I can have my character’s origin be Baldur’s Gate, but so far I’m pretty sure Neverwinter is the only place to be in the entire game. Speaking of character customization, if you love The Sims brand of customization, then you’re in luck. Preset hairstyles, but a fully customizable face Sims 3 slider style. Pretty cool if you ask me. The game looks okay if you’re standing still. It’s when you start walking around that you notice immense framerate issues, as well as lag in the city. Also, the game has a “you’re probably stupid, so I’ll hold your hand” approach with a Fable 3 like quest trail. Don’t get me wrong, I loved Fable 3. But that was Fable 3. Neverwinter Nights made you figure out where to go, and once you’d get there, you’d never forget where it was. I hate how publishers assume us to be at the bottom of the barrel intelligence wise. 

It’s like they think we’re six years old, and they have to do everything for us. You can explore, but you can’t really do anything on your own. I’m sure there’s a point in the game where you can just walk around and quest how you like, but I have yet to see it at 5 hours in.

If you want a mindless MMO for the xbox one, it’s free. So pick it up if you want. (Yes I’m aware it’s been on the PC for some time.)

Verdict: PLAY IT! (or don’t, it’s up to you.)

Ps: The game gives you the option of linking your ARC account to your xbox account, but it seems to be broken for me. The link they gave was broken, and will not work. All if does is give you a companion, so I’m not exactly getting all hot and bothered about it.

It's not rape, it's sexual distraction. The Sburb campers are disguised as trolls, flaunting a bucket at Tav, and Tav is getting a huge weird boner thing. If you've seen the uncensored image, it would be a lot clearer.
