Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger made its Japanese TV premiere in February 16, 2003, and was airing every Sunday at 7am JST. The series was later adapted into Power Rangers as Power Rangers Dino Thunder.

That said, they aired a PG sex scene featuring the show's Black Ranger, Asuka aka Abare Black with his wife, Mahoro, in Japan on a Sunday morning.

Sunday. Morning.

In a timeslot dedicated to kid's action programming. Imagine if Power Rangers Dino Thunder had a PG sex scene featuring Tommy Oliver in one episode that is tied in to the show's overarching storyline. This is what this sex scene feels like as a first time viewer.
