The live-action Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan series has a creative way to show Stand powers, but avoids saying the word "Stand" outright and just calls it "Gift", but enemy Stand users still look like this. Love how the series adapted the RPS Kid Arc.
you and your dreadful little polycule
In 1997, local television in Kharkiv accidentally filmed one of the most iconic rave moments in history.
Zack Snyder's movies in a nutshell.
I should have watched Garth Marenghi's Darkplace sooner.
Beautiful children.
I miss them already 🥹
starfleet academy episodes we would have got if it was a 22 episodes a season
a Q shows up to test Genesis, gives some grave warning about her future as a captain
Darem has to get a job at the coffee shop to pay for his tuition after being cut off
there's a ghost story about the old groudskeeper that Sam and Jay-Den investigate
holodeck goofing off (multiple episodes)
Ocam does something, anything
Sam gets a girlfriend but is slightly overbearing, her friends help her course correct but actually her girlfriend liked how she was originally
Caleb goes exploring San Francisco, finds a spooky old shop that gives him a cursed amulet or some other early TNG nonsense
please add more ideas you have below
The show has the largest standing set in North America. They should use it to their full advantage. That said, an episode of what is like to be a regular Starfleet Academy student. We will follow said student from the time they wake up till bed. Make it an Ocam episode.
Fun fact: Because people need money to survive, there's a good possibility the modern Star Trek-hating articles you're reading are actually faked by people just getting by.
Never support Giant Freaking Robot, they're trash.
DO YOU KNOW THIS CHARACTER?
OBI-WAN KENOBI from Star Wars
Yes, I know them.
I've only heard of them.
No, I don't know them at all.
Somehow I doubt he's all of you.
child: *is passionate about absolutely anything*
parent: gotta insult it
child: *becomes ashamed and embarrassed about the things they’re passionate about and doesn’t share their interests in fear of getting insulted about it*
parent: why aren’t you interested in anything? why don’t tell us anything anymore?
I think Starfleet Academy has done a lot with its shortened season compared to the twenty plus seasons of yore, but reaching the end of the academic year within nine episodes, cramming the spring semester into just a couple of episodes…
This is where it really feels like we’ve missed out on the things happening offscreen.
I miss low stakes episodes that are just about characters having small steps in their development, instead of it having to happen packed in alongside other characters’ growths.
The breathing room has been lost. I just want more time to spend on little things, not just the big picture.
that's her daddy!! that's his baby!!

Starfleet Academy Episode 8 B Plot:
Star Trek in the 90s: every week we're going to put these characters through horrific, life-altering trauma and then totally forget about.
Starfleet Academy: let's make one of those random traumas that character's entire season-long emotional arc.
*sees two women interacting for five seconds in a show*: c’mooooon lesbians *shaking dice in fist* mama needs a new pair of lesbians
I swear I'm so normal about them
Just watched this week's Starfleet Academy.
The previews gave me an expectation that we might explore The Doctor's trauma. What I did not expect is that they went deep cut with the Voyager episodes they used to explore it. Like if you haven't seen any Voyager, you still get it.
