to tell you the truth, there honestly hasn’t been that much going on over the past few days…
On Monday I started watching a new TV series that the rest of my family have been talking about a lot lately, Code Black. Code Black is the code hospitals use when they have an influx of patients so great, there aren’t enough resources to treat them. Most hospitals have a code black around five times per year, while Angeles Memorial (LA) experiences it 300 times per year. I must say, I really like the show. I am a huge Grey’s Anatomy fan, and I love the way that show is made, but this show has a completely different concept, and the cases they have are mindblowing! So if you haven’t seen it, I strongly recommend it!
On Monday night we had a horrible rain storm come in, and the thunder and rain were so bad I could not connect to my students at the end of the night.
Tuesday I worked on a research project (which I will post on here once it is finished and submitted to my school) for my college course, so that took up quite a lot of time. Nothing else happened….
Oh wait! My grandmother sent me an update on the playground outside her apartment building! It is starting to look pretty nice!
Today it is my best friend Nina’s birthday. I want to give her a shoutout on here because she deserves it! Nina, you are the most amazing friend I have ever had, and I love you so much! You have been with me through thick and thin, bad times and good times, my best moments, and my worst moments, and you have never moved an inch. I will move mountains for you <3 I love you to the moon and back <3
Today I woke up at 7am, and I went out for an hours walk. When I came back, I went sunbathing for a while. The beach was really calm and peaceful this morning!
While I sunbathed, I read a bit of Law and Ethics of Medicine before driving down to the beach in the hopes of getting a massage to relieve the tension in my shoulders and neck. Unfortunately, the woman was not open at first, so I went over to Ponds to have a drink while I waited. I went back a bit later, and just as I came to the shop, the masseuses was opening up the shop, and I asked if she had time for a massage. She told me she did not have time until later this afternoon, and after I explained to her that I was working later, she booked me in for a massage tomorrow morning. I can’t wait!
After making the massage appointment for tomorrow, I drove over to Big C, where I bought some food for the week and some coffee (yes, coffee).
As most of you all know, I hate coffee. I always have. So I don’t really know why I bought it, but I did, and I have had three cups already! I love it! From my previous experience with coffee, whenever I have had a sip of coffee, I have dreamt about it later, so tonight I will probably be dreaming about coffee all night!
I have sent my research project to a friend of mine to have it skimmed for any mistakes or so, and I am now waiting for a response before I submit it to the school.
Both yesterday and today, my bookings have been down. I have opened extra slots next week, so hopefully I will go back to my usual amount of bookings within the next few days! I have been terribly bored!
Today I also watched the finale of Scream Queens – kind of guessed who the Red Devil was, but was still a bit surprised!
Snapchat has been having some great effect lately – and I am loving this one! I feel like a fairy!
Anyways – off to teach my classes now!
