My love-hate relationship with TV shows:

THEY ALL GET CANCELED!

I'm not being overtly dramatic when I say literally all of my favorite shows get canceled.

Just found out The Gifted got the boot.

Before that, it was Midnight, Texas, Scorpion, Code Black, Salvation, Timeless (Twice! The actual fuck?)... let's go back a few years, Reign, Chasing Life, Revolution, Kyle XY. We'd be here all day if I listed them all. These are just the big ones that I will forever be pissed and bitter about.

At this point, there's no point in getting emotionally invested with TV shows at all. I just need to wait 10 years then start watching them when they're done all together. Because I can deal with tragedy and turmoil if it's part of the plot, I sign my soul over to that on the regular, but I'm not about to deal with the devil that is a TV network just for them to tear my show away from me 2 seasons in that ends on a cliffhanger.
