Mira smiled as she leaned on Josh’s shoulder as he recited the line from one of her favorite old movies. “It really is beautiful,” she whispered.

A Random Diversion
@hubwalker1 @kroottheflora (anyone else who wants to randomly have fun)
Solaan was always excited to run into some friends on the Hub, even though it was likely that he would do so on any given day. Still, the second Solaan crashed into Josh and Kroot, he was beaming.
“Hey! Hey! Josha! Kloot! I was just looking for you! I had an idea! Do you and like anyone else want to go off the Hub and check out one of the nearby planets? I hear there’s a world with a high population density that has some cool urban areas and stuff to do there! We could go get drinks or go to arcades or amusement parks or anything!”
Tragic Back Stories
@greytavirp
Josh was on a mechanic’s creeper on his back under his Arcadia Class Jumpship. One of his last few possessions from his home and he endeavored to keep it in ship shape despite the technological differences between home and here. He we working on one of the landing struts and reached out for a tool he had set aside but couldn’t quite find it. He felt around hoping to grab it but unfortunately it was just out of his reach.
Personality Quirk
Overhead lights flickered, emitting an oddly eerie ambience, in a cold hallway on a vacant sector of the Hub. The Collective had been in the process of gathering diagnostics on a set of long since disserviced data nodes, before requesting assistance from nearby inhabitants on their job boards. Station Maintenance Ticket: 113970-42A-783 Priority: Low Recipients: Open Attached: Sector 98-H Collective Data Node Maps, Data Node Disambiguation, Maintenance Tool and Supply Cache Key Collective data nodes on level 98, section H, malfunctioning. Caches containing necessary equipment for repairs have been unlocked for crew use on level. Drones unable to assist due to on station signal interference from an unknown source.
Disunity part 7

Kroot had found his way into the prison and was walking around looking for the figures that they were after. “Would be good if i had someone with some technology to help me.” he thought to himself. Suddenly the alarm went off, surprising him, making him think he had been caught. He quickly smashed the nearest speaker to him, but that didn’t get rid of the sound, and the flashing red lights. He decided that he should probably start moving faster and started looking for his friends rather than the figures that they were after.
He wondered if he was already too late.

COMMENCING MESSAGE
Cod grinned and leaned back on his captain’s chair, his long, thin, webbed feet flexing, the veins glowing in the faint reflected light of the nearby planet Stedna-III and, even more strongly, the emissions coming from the back of a much larger ship that they were approaching from behind. “He-he-heeeyyyy, Den’so! Long time no see? Why don’t you open up those doors and give little ol’ me some lovin’, what do you say? Maio’a wanted me to find out how that pass went!”
He bopped the large red button on the screen with one of his toes and it turned green as it cut off the signal and waited for a response. Twitching his ears, Cod smirked over at his second-in-command, Sadra, who was covering her face in exasperation as she stood just behind him. “What’s the matter, milady?”
“It’s a wonder anyone lets you on their ship. If I was Den’so, I’d destroy this ship and send you spinning into space.”
“Oh, save the formality lecture and go get this beast’s belly ready to open up wide!”
“Whatever you say, Khagan...”

Mira chuckled as she finished her soda/milk drink and quickly mixed a personal favorite of ours as Solaan ran over to the fountain. She quickly followed the senaalian over to the fountain in the plaza.
“Very nice fountain!” she said looking it up and down. “Nice design!”
The Curious Botanist (Part 4)
[From here]
Vidra hurriedly moved the blue orb of plants towards the capsule. Focusing to ensure the inside of the biotic shield hadn’t been disturbed (no explosions from within, thankfully), she deftly plopped the plants into the capsule.
Then, without releasing the shield, she threw one more biotic pulse at the capsule, and the top of the capsule closed, sealing shut. It was only then that she released the shield.
“Okay,” she jumped forward, picking up the capsule and stuffing it back into her pack. Then she threw both hands before her.
A biotic barrier emerged right behind Elyse’s.
“Okay, you can let yours down,” Vidra grunted, preparing to add more force into the barrier. “I need to check projectile radius. Retreating to 10 meters distance.”
