Dear Loving Family
It has been a few days since I have written you, and I apologize for it. I have not had much of a chance to sit down and rest in my travels. After leaving Whiterun, I ended up getting lost, and heading south. Luckily though, the road curved back up towards Rorikstead. I had to camp my first night. The next night I made it to Rorikstead, and worked the rest of the day to gain money. After spending the night there, I continued to head north. I met a few bandits along the way, but somehow, I was able to deal with them. I also met many wolves, but we would always hunt back home, so I was able to deal with them also. I also came across a whole fort of bandits, I ran from them of course. There were too many for me to fight there. There was one man I met that was much more interesting, and didn't try to kill me. He was an old Orcish man. He told me that he was waiting for a "good death". Apparently, he was too old to become chief, or take wives, so he was following a vision his god gave him. He was standing, waiting for his "good death" to come to him. I tried to convince him otherwise, but he would have none of it. I fell that this man will stay with me for a while, even now I wonder if he is still waiting. Is it bad to hope he gets what he want, he seemed to be an honorable man, as far as Orcs go, so is it bad to wish him his "good death". Is there even such I thing as a "good death" anyway. Was Uthgerd's death a good one. All these things I will have to think much deeper on, I may never even find an answer. After meeting this interesting man, I continued on my travels. I stopped for another night in the town of Dragon Bridge. Things were uneasy there. It seemed that the people there didn't appreciate being a potential battleground. I didn't spend to much time there though, I headed to Solitude first thing in the morning. When I got into the city. I was greeted with the sight of a public execution. Apparently, it was the execution of the man who allowed Ulric Stormcloak to escape. I avoided talking to anyone that day. The next day, I worked at the blacksmiths for most of the day. I'm not sure what I plan to do next, but I am planning on staying in Solitude for a while. I hope that you are all ok. I've missed you all very much, but I set out to learn a trade here in Skyrim, and that is what I will do.

Dear Loving Family
I have just lost a good friend. While I was in Whiterun, still pondering what it ment to be dragonborn, I was confronted by two Redgaurds. They said that they were looking for a redguard woman in the city, but that they were not allowed inside the city. I told them that I would keep an eye out for a Redguard woman, but I had no real plans to look for her. There was something about the men that I didn't like, they seemed a like they had less than pleasant plans for this woman. After talking to these men, I went back to the inn for the night. while I was eating there, I was offered a drink by one of the workers there. I noticed that she was a Redguard, so I informed her that there were men looking for her. I was then that she said she needed to talk to me in private. When we were out of sight, she unexpectedly pulled a knife and held it at my throat. I talked her into putting the knife away, and she explained why she was using all the caution. Apparently, the men looking for her were assassins sent to take her life. She told me she needed help, and that she could trust no one else in the town. I, stupidly agreed to help her. After learning the location of the men from one of their members, Me and Uthgerd set out for a cave called swindlers den. When we got there, we were met with bandits that were apparently hired to guard the cave. I wasn't expecting to have to fight, I never wanted to fight, but it turned out that way. We soon found the assassins, by walking into a trap. We were cornered, and the only way out was to fight our way out. We were severely outnumbered, but somehow we were able to defeat them. Unfortunately, Uthgerd was severely wounded during the fight. I rushed to her side and tried to help her, but it was no use. My healing magic was barely strong enough to heal small scratches, let alone such a deep wound. All I could do for her was to be there. She died very soon after the fight. I put her in an honorable position, with her sword and he shield by her side, and left the cave. I made my way back to Whiterun as fast as possible. I told the redguard woman that she would no longer be having trouble, but I could say no more to her. It was her fault that Uthgerd is dead. I never needed to help her, I could of simply walked away, or better yet, I could of turned her into those men. I had no reason to be involve, and I had no right to drag an amazing person into my problems, simply to protect me. Still, I knew that that's not what you would want me to do . . . its not what she would want me to do either. I spent the night in Uthgerd's house. This morning I bought a horse, and decided to head to Solitude. I don't know if I am going to join the empire's army, but I need to be somewhere other than this city. My dear family, I killed several people today, but this time, I am not sorry. I realize now, as I write this to you, that some people need to be killed for the safety of others. We can't let other people simply do as they please, and I feel as if I should help fight against these people, not in the war, but in a more subtle way. I do not really know what I mean by that though. It is late, and I am tired.

Dear Loving Family
I'm writing this urgently. I'm not sure what to say about what has just happened, something even more alarming happened today. There was another dragon attack. When I returned to Whiterun with the Dragonstone, I wasn't greeted with the warmth and praise that I was expecting. Instead, Uthgerd and I were dragged into helping their forces investigate a dragon sighting nearby. I tried to tell them how bad of an idea this was, but they refused to listen to reason. Nothing I said could make them understand. When we got to the tower where the dragon was sighted, we found it mostly destroyed. There was one man left alive though. He told us that the last two men who had tried to had been killed by the dragon. It was at that very moment that we were interrupted by the sudden ear shattering roar of the dragon. It had come back to finish off the rest of us. This one wasn't as large as the one at Helgen, but still just as terrifying. I don't remember much of the fight, just that I fired as many arrows as I could. Somehow, against all possible odds, we had killed it. I helped kill a dragon. I thought that this was the end of it, but there was something else. As we all gathered around to examine the amazing creature, it began to glow. The light left the dragon, and went into me. I could feel myself being overcome with power, and I did . . . something. I fell as though I released the power that I learned in the cave before, as strange that seems. I was quickly confronted by one of the guards, who said I was something called "Dragonborn". We rushed back to the palace as fast as possible to report what had happened, but on the way there, we heard a sound, louder than thunder over the horizon. At first I thought that we were under attack by another dragon, but the others simply carried on, one of them whispered "The Greybeards". When we got back to the palace, I was rewarded for my services, but much greater than I thought. I was made a thane. Then, the Jarl informed me who the Greybeard were. They are a group of monks who practice something called "The Way of the Voice", and that the sound we heard was them summoning me to them. I'm still not sure what that means, but it is apparently a great honor. I am sorry for the shortness of this letter, but I have yet to fully understand the situation myself. What I do know, is that something is going on here in Skyrim. It seems that ancient forces are awakening, and I can only hope that they do note reach to you.

Dear Loving Family
It seems that I am being plagued by a series of strange events. I'm not entirely sure what has happened, so I will simply tell you what has happened since my last letter. After resting in Riverwood, I said my goodbyes and set off for Whiterun. It wasn't a very hard trek, and I made it there rather quickly. When I got to the city, I was met with a gaurd telling me that the city was closed. Once I told him why I needed in though, he let me in. I made my way up to the Jarl's palace of Dragonsreach. When I got there I was immediately met with a sword at my neck. Apparently I had interrupter a private meeting between the Jarl and his steward. Once they learned that I had news of Helgen, though, they were very quick to changed their minds. I had originally though that once I delivered my message I could go, but this was not so. The Jarl recruited me to find something called a Dragonstone, apparently it would give them information on the dragons. I tried to tell them that I was not the one to do it, that they should hire someone else, but they wouldn't listen to me. apparently it was of the most importance that they get that stone soon. Since I had no real say in it, I agreed that I would investigate, but I could not promise them anything. I spent that night and the next day in Whiterun, getting ready for the expedition. I met quite a few interesting character they, one of which ended up becoming my new companion. Her name is Uthgerd, and she is a very . . . Interesting nord, to say the least. It's rather funny how she ended up traveling with me. You see, I to the inn in Whiterun to see about getting a room for the night. While I was waiting to talk to the owner of the inn, I asked her if she knew anything about the Skyforge. Somehow this conversation led to the companions, which I later learned was a sore spot for her, and that conversation led to her challenging me to a fight. I attempted to turn her down, but she attacked me no matter what I said. I actually won the fight, though, it was because of a messy accident that ended with her unconscious. I left the inn, letting the owner clean up he mess. I figured it wasn't a good idea to be in the inn when she woke up, so I spent the night outside the city with a caravan of Khajiit traders. When I woke up the next morning, there she was, all ready to go. Apparently she had heard where I was going, and wanted to come along, I knew there was no arguing, so I let her tag along. When we got to the ruins of Bleak Falls Barrow, the place where the stone was rumored to be, we were surprised to ind that we we not the only ones there. Some bandits had set themselves up around the ruins, looking for some treasure that involved a golden claw. It was at this point that I suggested that we turn back and simply tell them that we could not find the stone, but my companion insisted that we keep going. I still wish that she had just listened to me. As we when further, ran into things that seem like they walked straight out of stories of legend. A spider almost the size of a house descended from the ceiling in one room, and the dead would wake and attack us in others. The final chamber was an amazing room, with a giant wall covered in ancient writing in a language that I have never seen before. It was here that the most curious, and concerning thing happened. I was drawn to the wall. It seemed like the words were calling out to me. I wasn't sure what was happening, then, all of the sudden, I was overcome with a sudden understanding. The words Unrelenting Force rang out in my head. I didn't get the chance to ponder it though, because at the same exact moment, a corpse exploded from it's grave. This one was much stronger that the others, but we were still able to defeat it. It carried the Dragonstone with it. Now that we had the stone, we found our way out of the cave and back to Riverwood, where we are currently going to spend the night. Skyrim is a very differnt place, and I feel as if I am getting pulled into some things that I do not want to be involved with. I wish you all well, and anticipate writing you my next letter, surely there will be good news then.
