It wasn't like Garrus to spend any time in the shuttle bay, not since they lost the Mako during the SR-1's destruction, but there he was, staring into the vast space without a word. Vega was off doing something else besides the five hundred push-ups he did every day, and Cortez had gone off to dinner, leaving the turian all alone in there with nothing but his thoughts. That was until he heard footsteps behind him, and he only assumed that one of the lieutenants had returned.

"Vega y--" He stopped mid-sentence as he turned his head to look at the visitor over his shoulder, seeing that it was actually Shepard. "Oh, good to see you, Shepard."

As he approached his commanding officer, he started to speak, telling her about his reasons for coming to visit her in the first place, since it was likely that she would ask. "I'll have you know that I ventured all the way here from the main battery just to tell you that I'm having difficulties with some of the engineers. I tried to handle this myself, but, without threatening them with physical harm, I'm not worth listening to, apparently."

He sighed, folding his arms over his chest as he came to a halt a few feet from her. "They think it's funny to mess with me," he continued, a hint of agitation in his tone. "They come in and change the temperature of the main battery, hide my guns all over the ship, or add macros to my calibrations console that makes the word 'butts' appear when I type specific words."
