Saw a photo of ishan with abhi's mom doing both abhi's signature L pose.. how about a playful no angst abhishan where abhishek playfully acts jealous as ishu gets attention from sharma family and ishan teases him while abhi being happy seeing ishan bonding so well with his family.

It could be angsty abhishman with a jealous shub as he barely gets to be part of family bonding while his 2 bfs are togther since start of year...missing them / feeling what if they stop wanting him

plot twist but it's in the very beginning: abhi's family don't actually like shubman. they have a lot of reasons--his success overshadowing abhi's, believing that he's a fuckboy, thinking shub doesn't love their son they way he should

but since this dislike is hidden from abhi and ishan, they don't believe shubman when he complains about abhi's family leaving him out all the time

nothing shubman tries to make them like him works, and his boyfriends don't believe him, so he decides at least he's not going to just lie down and take it

abhi and shub get into a huge argument, both sides saying very mean things (mostly shub, courtesy of maya)

shub calls abhi a mumma's boy, spoilt brat, and entitled. tells him to go fuck his parents instead of him if he loves them so much

abhi tries to slap shub or push him when he makes the comment about fucking his parents instead and calls him crass, classless, rude, because "no wonder my parents dont like you!"

shub's there like "well, I don't like them either and right now I'm not even sure if I like YOU"

he says, "you know what your parents can't stand? that i'm more successful than you. that i'm captaining the country in two formats while their precious son took five years to break into the team. they're probably just pissed their darling son can't find a spot on the odi and test teams even though he's sucking the captain's dick, that's why they don't like me."

and when abhi starts crying, he sneers at him, "go to your mother and let her wipe your face with the hem of her sari. god, you're pathetic."

he also takes a dig at the srh captaincy situation, "let's see how long they like ishan for now that he's captain of srh. mummy and papa don't like anybody outperforming you at anything. they must like very few people in the world then, considering you're not good for anything apart from sucking cock."

"the sad thing is you can't even score a run with the bats your daddy's money bought for you, need my bat for that, don't you? if your dad had taken you over his knees for a spanking every time you got out playing the same goddamn shot instead of spending his time hating everyone who did better than you, maybe you'd be in more than one team right now."

maya is really embracing this side of shubman after that toxic shub hcs post, i see. anyway, I'm passing the rest to you, maya!!!

one of those big sports accounts just announced that pat won't be available during the first few matches💔they also said that abhishek is going to be the temporary captain instead? if true, would have been interesting to see an abhiman clash with both as captains but I don't think there's an srh vs gt match in the first phase

but ugh im still going to miss pat

If true, then damn that means it'll be abhay going in for the captain's photoshoot huh? 😆 Another abhiman reunion on the cards regardless of whether SRH and GT play each other at first? 👀 but if it's not abhay and it's ishan, then we're in for an ishman reunion, so either way, a win is a win

(but also, very very concerned for cummo. i hope he's feeling better 🥹 that being said there isn't any update on his boyfriend josh either, i hope both him and hoff are fit and healthy first and foremost 😭)

i would love to see abhay/ish and shub face off as captains - imagine the angst-potential though!! (most of my og ships have players that belong to opposing teams to start with, so you can tell i have a thing for the tension that sports inherently brings to every dynamic, hehe)

that being said, you're right though, there's no srh gt match in the first phase, and pat would most likely be back by then if he's only being rested for a few games - so all we can do is just imagine all the scenarios together 🥹
