I don't know if you've answered this before, but if you haven't then if Black Butler were to finish soon, what ending would you be satisfied with?

Short version?

Our earl and Sebastian defeat whoever ordered the attack on the Phantomhive family. That could be Queen Victoria and John Brown. It might also somehow involve the reaper organization, or at least their superiors.

Our earl has a final confrontation with his older twin, and they reconcile, ending with real Ciel essentially dying a second time. Might even include real Ciel giving up. Either way, real Ciel might tell his little brother something like “good game”.

Then our earl and Sebastian agree that the contract has been fulfilled, and Sebastian has his long-awaited meal. I expect our earl’s soul to affect him in some unexpected way. I mean in a way that the demon was not expecting.

Thanks to whatever Undertaker (and others) try to do to break the contract, Sebastian might have issues with claiming his master’s soul. But I think he and his master will figure it out and get around it. I strongly hope Yana-san will not place them in a situation where they are stuck with each other.
