My hope for the younger generations born with SB is that they do not lose their fighting spirit just because the technology improves and helps push them along. Technology and medicine can only go so far, in my opinion. That's half the battle. The other half is wanting to do more, and believing you can. I've learned that without that, no amount of progress can change your prognosis.

As of October 2, 2013, you should be able to view the purchasing information through this website: D http://www.saintmeinradgiftshop.com/category.asp_Q_c_E_40029_A_OCP+Elf-help+Books Ability Therapy was written for adults living with physical conditions, as well as the countless professionals and caregivers who care for, and about them. This book is meant to offer insights, suggestions and motivation to live an ability-driven life in the face of adversity and obstacles. In a society which routinely disenfranchises individuals with disabilities through a focus on perceived weaknesses rather than strengths and abilities, Ability Therapy is designed to lift spirits, foster resiliency and give hope. You can learn more about how to order Ability Therapy (and more about Sarah!), from visiting her personal website at: http://www.disabeauty.com/ Please feel free to forward this information on to any person or group you feel could benefit from reading Ability Therapy.
