Chapter 24

I was trying to work out if Un was yelling so hard during the fight because he was super offended that Yu-hwa was being tied to Hon and 'noooo, Hon would never employ someone like him!' or if it was because Un at least had an inkling about who they were facing and was actually trying to protect Yu-hwa. (Also, I WAS SO SAD when Yu-hwa and him finally exchanged names offscreen. XDDDD;; Yeah, it makes sense with the time skip, not to mention, it would be weird if Yu-hwa still didn't know Un's name after getting asked to join Hon, and Noblesse also does this with stuff happening offscreen but I wanted to seeeeee it.)

From Jacra's words, it sounded like Yu-hwa's regenerative Abilty is pretty uncommon? Which, well, Crystal. *cough* Though I can't remember if it's been canonised that people are born with Abilities or if they develop them/find them later on in life...

And - just - Jacra. So we've got Mase, who's a laterseason!M-21, and Jacra, who was reminding me of a less impulsive season1!M-21. XD;;; I think it was because Jacra was being threatening without being violent, giving Yu-hwa an ultimatum, and hm. Like, in this fight, I got the sense that Jacra was bored? He was curious about this interesting thing that had presented itself in front of him but anyway. That's only a small bit of Jacra's characterisation. :3

Aaaaaaah, I thought Crystal had taken over Yu-hwa's body again BUT YE-RIN. YE-RIN YE-RIN! 8DD \o/

Yu-hwa leaned on his elbow as he stared at the scenery outside the car window, trying not to fidget, trying not to let the jitters in his stomach get the better of him, but every second that passed was a second that was bringing him closer to the Anothers. Maybe. It probably wouldn't but- Yu-hwa lifted his head to see the rapidly darkening clouds that were gathering between the gaps in the buildings they were passing. It was starting to become a semi-familiar sight, and Yu-hwa wondered if he'd see the dark lightning he'd heard a couple of his customers had claimed to see. "Hey, Detective Park…" he said, pushing himself straighter in the chair, adjusting where his clothes had rode up. "Hm? What's wrong?" "Do you think the Anothers could be the cause for the weird weather too?" It was a dumb question, but now that Yu-hwa knew about Anothers, maybe it really wasn't just some freak weather they kept having every couple of months. And he was completely new to this stuff, so who knew what kind of Abilities they had. When Detective Park didn't say anything, Yu-hwa chuckled, feeling a little embarrassed. "Ah, never mind, it's a-" "No, no, it's not," Detective Park said, and Yu-hwa turned to see him shaking his head. They stopped at a traffic light, and Detective Park frowned as he tapped his fingers on the wheel. "There's always…wreckage whenever that happens, but it's not as localised as where we're going," Detective Park admitted, "or as frequent." He sighed, still tapping the wheel. "I guess we could check it out when we're done with this area?" Yu-hwa offered when they started moving again. It wouldn't take them long to see all the suspicious places. Detective Park smiled at him. "Yeah."

They don't see the 'red light' here because if they were around during that fight, Yu-hwa would have been evacuated and there would have been more panicking people around, so. XD;

Ability 23

I was amused how the salamanders let Yu-hwa put Park down first before starting the pre-fight banter. Also wanted to know how Yu-hwa knew those ones had come from the cafe, since he'd also fought with the salamander at Park's house.

Everyone else in the room seemed to disappear for a bit because I cannot believe there is enough room in there for three fights going on simultaneously. Especially with how much Yu-hwa was getting chucked around everywhere.

But good on Yu-hwa for keeping his focus on beating at least one salamander! Though then he starts hyperfocusing by the end so... Uh. D:

I'm wondering if Yu-hwa can actually die, because by this point, he's got to have had his lungs and/or heart punctured. D:

Ability 22

Huh? Why is Ye-rin paying so much attention to him. It's not like her.

I'm curious about the white-haired agent's comment about Yu-hwa's physical ability. I guess it could be because of his healing Ability (since that's how muscles develop), or maybe the crystal changed Yu-hwa's body a bit? :D?

And of course, as soon as the white-haired agent says anything that could possibly be taken as a compliment, he then insults Yu-hwa, to balance it out. *snerk*

But damn, I'm warming up to the white-haired agent and Yu-hwa's banter. :D I hope it escalates and that's just how they are with each other, haha.

I didn't think we saw Sa-ryun imbuing anything with his Ability? We saw the glowing balls, but I think that was it? (Also, aaaah, Yu-hwa calling him 'hyung'!)

We see Park again! Aaaaaaah!

And then Yu-hwa proves that he hasn't had any field training as he STANDS IN PLAIN SIGHT. ORZ;;;

Aaaand then he gets used as bait, pfft.

I was wondering if the salamanders all just telelported into that room because seriously. They just appeared out of nowhere.

I'm curious if there's a connection between the white-haired agent and the leader, since they have similar coloured eyes?

But yesss, I did like the extra information we were getting of what Hon actually does and damn, that doesn't exactly sound equal and fair to Anothers. D: I was sort of agreeing with the leader until, you know, he said that Anothers are inherently better than humans and humans should be ruled by them. Then again, since he had Park kidnapped, yeah, it was sort of to be expected?

I'm not sure if Ye-rin's actually used her Ability yet... White-haired agent looked like he was enjoying himself though, pfft. XD;

Deeeefinitely curious about the white-haired agent's history with that salamander. 8D

Aaaand Yu-hwa's so distracted with watching everyone fighting that he gets caught... orz;

...I really want Yu-hwa to lose consciousness and for the crystal to take over his body in this fight, haha...

I swear, Ye-rim is hilarious. It sorta reminds me of Seira and Regis. Ye-rin and Seira are the stronger fighters who take out their opponents quickly… And Regis and the white haired guy are strong but not as fast or strong as the girls. I’m loving this

SO HAPPY TO SEE THE WHITE-HAIRED AGENT'S ABILITY! 8DDDD (I was a little curious how the Anothers seemed to know this was a signal that the white-haired agent was going to activate his Ability. Possibly a mole in Hon?)

Aaaand we got the name for the purple-haired agent this chapter too! :D Can't wait to see what her Ability is. :3

AND Ye-rin put on a glove that's exactly the same as the one that Yu-hwa wears, which makes me curious where Sa-ryun got the glove.

But omgggg, there ARE different types of Anothers! Yesssss! 8D Can't wait to see what the others are like. :D

While Ye-rin and the white-haired agent start their second fight, Yu-hwa's still struggling to get out the car, haha. XD

The trio no longer have transport. Pfft. (They seem to be at the place where they want to be at the end of the chapter, but they still need transport for the way back) Also, if there is a destructable thing within a five metre radius in a fight, bodies will be attracted to it like magnets, got it. o/

Aaaaand twenty-one chapters in, we've got the start of shirtlessness. *snerk* Then again, Yu-hwa had to take a HELLA lot of damage before he reached this point, so good on him!

And then the white-haired agent interrupted, because the fight was taking TOO DAMN LONG. I really did laugh out loud at that. XD

White-haired agent continues to needle Yu-hwa, while Ye-rin smiles at...something. XD;

WE NOW HAVE A FEMALE FRANKENSTEIN, AHAHAHAHAHA! <3 Love it. XD

But gooood, Yu-hwa! 8D So damn adamant about getting back out there and rescuing Park! :D

Also damn loving the worldbuilding we're seeing now too! Aaaah! And - and, Hon's top priority is protecting the Anothers, not humans, and omg yesssssss.

We have a name for the Young Lady, yessss! :D Hopefully we'll have names for the two agents soon too. :D

Also also, if the violent Anothers are a bit of an anomaly (ha, they'll probably be a rather huge group too), does this mean there are Anothers also working in Hon? I waaaant the answer to be yes! :DD

I want to know if people with Abilities are inherently tougher than regular humans, because the white-haired agent just kicked/punched the door free of its hinges, oh my god. XDDD Because it's either that, or they're modified humans. XDD (I'm assuming they've got Abilities, anyway. *snerk*)
