49, 50 for Andre and Keelty
49. What is their most valued object? Are they sentimental? Is there something they have to take everywhere with them?
Andre: When he was young, his mother gave him a field guide to local flora and fauna, which he’s credited as a major factor in his life-long love of the environment. Though he doesn’t carry it with him everywhere, it’s always on his nightstand and/or workshop. He’s sentimental in the extreme, but lives a fairly minimalist lifestyle.
Keelty: Given her transient lifestyle, the few possessions Keelty always has with her are particularly treasured; she doesn’t have enough space in her camper or her life for clutter. That said, one of her favorite items is her grandmother’s earring: it’s a large disk-style hoop with an owl engraved into it, which has little citrines for eyes. She wears it nearly daily.
50. If they could only take one bag of stuff somewhere with them: what would they pack? What do they consider their essentials?
Andre: Being practical, he would bring necessary hygiene items, his field guide (both practical and sentimental), a few days worth of clothes, his phone, and some money.
Keelty: This is somewhat moot since Keelty is always travelling, and she’s always travelling light. She tends to pack more clothes than she needs, however, and always packs away some sweet treats.
