Reasons I Love Belinda
Okay so as per this post, I am doing a "reasons I love __" series in which I talk about why I love my WIPs and characters. I'm taking my OC page and using that as my guide for what order to write about characters. I skipped the rp/OHS characters for now, though, since I talk about them the most.
So! I've already talked about the WIP Belinda is from (DHaF), so now I'm gonna dig into the MCs in which there are 5: Belinda, Ikuisuus, Ruby (she's only in the novel though), Juma and Chippy the cat.
Here are some of the reasons why I love Belinda:
she's a total cocky badass
she is basically who I want to be in attitude with some added me flavors (her love of alcohol) and a little slice of things I want to avoid (alcoholism, getting into altercations for fun etc) - it makes her a little more complex imo
she's so passionate about what she does... yes, what she does is kill people but she has such a zest for it o.o that sounds horrible but hopefully you get what I'm getting at.
her friendship with Ikuisuus is like my favorite thing
the way she went from just some alcoholic that was always getting shitfaced and getting into fights to who she is now (an alcoholic who physically cannot get drunk and now kills for a living)... I like that?? It sounds horrible but she's had the most change out of the characters of this WIP
she’s a lesbian with an attitude. She knows what she wants and she won’t tolerate others she doesn’t want giving her shit
her reputation! Everyone knows about her - she’s known as the Red Devil - but no one knows who she is. She can just stroll into a bar with no regard or wariness because no one is aware the that local alcoholic chick who never seems to get too drunk, oddly, is the Red Devil. That adds a little fun piece to her just attitude in general, I feel
There are a lot of reasons why I love Belinda but I didn't want to ramble on too much. So these are the ones I chose to point out. Belinda is one of my favorite characters and is the one I named my car after ^_^
