My Chara is more of a planner, a schemer. that's part of how they knew something was off once they realized they were fronting during a geno route... and why, by Undyne, they were leaning into it. This wasn't them, but the power was being given them, not whatever was pushing this. and by the end, it worked: by working together, they seized the control, to stop it all.

But then, we're cheaters.

The soul we gave was not our own, so the most they could hope for is to terrorized our twisted sentimentality. Surely some consequence can be given, right? Something implied, even if false, just to rob our sour our "victory".

This actually shows up some with their petty battles in my KG verse for Chara, haha... the way they drive @eggphcbe absolutely batty by just being a good genuine friend with @kindsnob and doing inane things instead of causing a scene...

I have this HC that Asriel is like SUPER afraid of thunderstorms and chara always has to like hold them to comfort. But at the same time chara is also not super comfy with storms but they would never admit that cuddling Asriel helps

I know that your interpretations of Chara and Kris are gender fluid and demigender… do you think that exploring your headcanons of their gender identities helped you realize you were non-binary?

Honestly, yeah ;; I’m pretty sure it did!

I started messing around with Chara and Kris around starting November or December? Especially REALLY after Deltarune came out

And, messing around with their genders under the non-binary spectrum really made me question some parts about me,

And after a while, around January, I realized OH,,,, I’ve been non-binary this whole time

For Chara, it was really easy to say “oh they’re genderfluid” and there’s a whole story/backstory to that but it involves talking about theyir agab and that shouldn’t be important- but in short, my Chara’s story talks about sometimes, gender identity can be formed or changed after trauma

For Kris, it’s about discovering “hey I’m actually this” but not being sure where to go. For me, I’ve been hearing about non-binary a lot but never really associated with it, I guess because I didn’t really care about my gender, and when I finally touched on Chara and Kris, i started questioning myself and freaking out- which is what Kris is going through, i justdont draw it because it involves questioning and using (old) pronouns you’re okay with (because it’s what you’ve grown up with and really don’t mind)- and I’m very tired discourse kahsiwhsjsh. Even using the word “demigender” scared me to put here honestly- But im glad my comics are able to be relatable, and I’m honestly glad that Kris and Chara the characters are there for people who are non-binary, and for those who need them to see themselves in someone, and I try to do that-

Because honestly in some small ways I see myself in them! And they helped me wether I liked it or not to find out I’m non-binary KAHSISHS
