About Tan and Fang:

I have to admit they weren't my favorite couple. I felt like Tan was giving so much more than Fang. Sometimes it seemed like Fang was just here receiving this love. Of course, he is more reserved than Tan so he would show his love differently, but even knowing that it wasn't easy to see the signs. I even imagined last week that he wasn't really in love with Tan. It felt like he accepted his love, but the feeling weren't truly reciprocated. I guess it goes from the way they started together. Tan wears his heart on a sleeve. Fang is looking at him with a sweet gaze, but that's it. It looked more like a parent looking tenderly at their child. He agreed to be together with him, but they weren't grand gesture of love from him when Tan was literally jumping in his arms, wanted to tell the world about them and walking hands in hands.

However, after this episode, I have a different opinion. I believe I warmed up to him. I already made a post about his little brother, Phum and how he had trouble expressing himself for various reasons. You know what… I believe Fang has the same problem, but it is showing differently. Obviously they are from the same family, so they also have to faced the same troubles. From Phum, we learnt his parents weren't really present and it affected him. I think it is also the case for Fang. He doesn't shower people with money or craves simple domestic actions. I think, Fang just wants someone to shower him with love. To be loved unconditionally is so powerful and warm. He doesn't need much more. Tan is doing it without asking for anything. He likes to be around Fang even if they are doing nothing. He wants to be with him and look at him.

I understand now, Fang really has feeling for Tan, but just like his brother he is terrible at showing it. I don't know if I'm not making some speculation right now, but I also feel like Fang is suffering from “oldest child syndrome”. We don't know if Fang and Phum have older siblings so this is just a guess. He has a great sense of responsibility, he is well-behaved, he is a high achiever and he seems to be really mature. Maybe, he has always been in the role of the one who has to care and nurture others and it's refreshing for him to be the one getting it and not having to do all the work.

I still feel he should find a way to express himself more, especially with his lover. He is lucky Tan seems to be really understandable. He looks like this goofy guy who never takes anything seriously, but I believe, deep down, he is really seeing Fang for who he is.

I learned some things about someone I held dear to me and they're kind and sweet but they're also explosive with anger and they really did hurt me and they've hurt 2 others and tried pitting us all against each other and it all makes me so very sad and I don't know what to do with myself and I really wish being hurt by others cut off my emotional connection to them but instead it makes me miss they and want to be near them more and it's fucked up and I kinda just want to forget them now. I know that a lot of their issues and anger stems from how badly they were mistreated in their home but I really didn't think that this would have happened and I hate that this seems to happen so often with those I love

Not to be dramatic but I'm literally ready to kill myself at any moment at this point because my parents keep yelling at me that I'm not doing enough for my future when I literally don't see any future for myself because nothing ever fucking ends well!! Like I just wanna die!! I've already let just about everyone down and I'm never gonna be enough for anything or anyone so what's the fucking point of trying!!! There is none!! Nothing ever ends well!! There are more lows than highs and I don't see any future for myself anymore because every time I do and I want to just be fucking happy that vision gets burned down every time!! I'm tired of it I really am!

About Fang + Abilities

Fang aka my BeastTale Papyrus is a bit different than the canon BeastTale Papyrus. That being said let’s get into it the details.

Fang can’t see very well when there is a lot of light around, thus he uses his superb hearing to listen for prey. At night his vision is like a hawks. 

When Fang is tracking something he will open his mouth and breath in. It helps him track the scent.

The bones in Fang’s hands and feet can be used as “sensors”. (kind of like a rattlesnake sensing vibrations)

Fang has two forms. 

~     The first is his “casual” form where the Beast isn’t hunting or fighting. He is usually docile and very friendly in this form. The Papyrus is 15ft tall in this form. (Fang can still fight in this mode he just prefers not to) Despite his height Fang can somehow squeeze into tight places.

=     Predator Mode is used for fighting and hunting. In this mode Fang becomes smaller, but a bit more bulky. Essentially he is even more cat-like. His fangs and claws become longer and his spine (and tail) gain sharp spines, like a serrated knife.

Fang is rather stealthy, but he uses magic to make himself completely silent.

In my verse Beasts can use either physical attacks or magical ones. There are very few who can use both. Sans and Fang can use both.

As such Fang is difficult to kill. (not impossible though)

Fang LOVES meat. He isn’t picky and will eat any meat., even poisoned meat. however his body absorbs the poison and places it in his claws. (Fang believes poison is a spice)

Fang can shoot a beam of magic from his mouth, but this is tiring to him.

Fang can use his tail as a weapon or to grab things.

Celestite:How my muse deals with anxiety.Fang usually handles himself pretty well, most of any anxiety comes from worry for others. More often than not he convinces himself that they other person is quite capable of handling it themselves. If worse comes to wear he’s under the impress he will swoop in to save the day. However when it comes to dealing with any extreme paranoia or personal issues, Fang has a tendency to over act and run away. Deciding that is the best way to deal with it, when such times comes. He usually transforms into his quadrupedal form and finds a nook to hole up and whine for hours on end. Dolomite:a sleep headcanon.When in somewhere he feels is home he sleeps pretty heavily, he’s normally a side sleeper. However sometimes he will also sleep on his stomach, prolly due to habits of his wolf form ofsleeping on his stomach and resting his head on his paws. When out on missions, he tends to sleep less preferring to keep watch and keep an ear, eye and nose out for danger. The result is usually when he gets back home him sleeping for a day to himself to recuperate on the loss of sleep.Kyanite:an anger headcanon.Werewolves have anger issues in general, Fang is really no exception. Having been living awhile now he’s had time to control most of the normal werewolf tendencies since he been a loner for so long. In truth Fang is easily angered but keeps his anger for the most part shoved down and repressed. Most often this constant anger is usually what leads to his prickly disposition to strangers and general annoyance for things.

Extreme stress during combat, especially as he grows older he finds it harder to want to maintain a human form during combat. If its secluded enough or not in public eye he usually just lets himself transition once he’s hit his anger peak and rip apart his victims with vigor, allowing some of that constant bottled up anger leave him if only for a moment.
