No idea if youre doing FAF but just in case, What band name would your OCs have if they were in a band together?

I sent my FAF questions yesterday, so yes I’m doing them lol. Did you not get one??? I thought I sent them to everybody.

Honestly most of my characters would never, ever be in a band.

However, I could totally see Ikuisuus, Belinda and Juma forming a small rock band. Belinda would be the drummer, Juma would be the lead guitarist, and of course Ikuisuus would be the frontwoman/lead singer. Juma and Belinda would both do backup vocals. They would be called the Immortal Trio.

The rest of my OCs, I can’t really imagine in a band. /:

I have 38 listed, and that’s right off the top of my head ^_^;; so let’s just use those ones.

Omg of course I got one of the characters I know the least about... sigh.

So I got #17: Juma.

Juma’s name came from the Finnish word for goddess (jumalatar). She is the goddess of my roleplay world/DHaF world and HD world (all 3 of those take place in the same world).

Juma THINKS she’s in charge of who goes where in the afterlife, but little does she know... Ikuisuus does what she wants lol.

Juma is super sweet and understanding but she has no problem sending someone to hell just for not wanting to spend eternity with them

(I feel the need to say that hell in this world is NOT like the one you learn about in the bible... hell is just a party in a REALLY hot place, basically)

I have literally never thought about what Juma looks like, so she has no appearance as of now

Juma is best friends with Belinda & Ikuisuus, though she isn’t really seen in the adventures on DHaFN (the Death Has a Face Novel).

Unlike what a lot of religious text says about the gods of the planets, Juma is not all-seeing or all-knowing. That’s Ikuisuus’ job

Juma created demons and sent them to hell to keep the souls she didn’t want to be around company, basically

I’m not really sure what else to say, but for now, I guess that’s it. I’m heading to bed. Hubby’s ready for bed and I’ve been drinking some whiskey, so... for now, I’m gonna wish you a good night! Alex isn’t off til 6 tomorrow so I’ll have about an hour at home before he’s home. <3

So for yours, I’ll do Juma because for as old their story is, she really isn’t talked about much.

So, Juma is a pretty... self-centered goddess. She does everything to make herself happy and the only other people she thinks about when making decisions are Belinda and Ikuisuus (her best friends), and even then, if it’s not going to make her happy too, she won’t do it.

Reasons I Love Juma

Okay so as per this post, I am doing a "reasons I love __" series in which I talk about why I love my WIPs and characters. I'm taking my OC page and using that as my guide for what order to write about characters. I skipped the rp/OHS characters for now, though, since I talk about them the most.

So! I've already talked about the WIP Iku is from (DHaF), Belinda and Ikuisuus, so now I'm gonna dig into the other MCs in which there are 3: Ruby (she's only in the novel though), Juma and Chippy the cat.

So without further ado, here are the reasons I love Juma:

Just to forewarn you guys... I haven't done a whole lot with Juma so this will be short.

she's super cute even though she's stitched together basically

even though it is technically blasphemous the way that some religions view gods and whatnot in their world, she is still completely interested in how wrong people are about the world of the afterlife

instead of creating a hell to torture souls, she created a hell that's just... away from her and will send souls there simply for not wanting to be around them (but yes, hell is still fire and alla that but she made it so only the truly evil souls will be burned by it. Otherwise, it's just like a really hot party xD)

she has equal respect for her angels as she does for the humans and in fact, might even put humans on a higher level than angels and likes to sometimes tag along when Belinda is showing Iku the worlds

she isn't an all-knowing goddess like a lot of religions say gods are. She's too busy entertaining her afterlife guests and that's why she sometimes likes to visit earth

the way she is stitched dark and light represents the fact that she isn't white vs POC. She has equal love for all people (unless they annoy her or piss her off for some reason or another)

Her full name is Jumalatar, which translates to goddess. It is also Finnish just like Iku's name. Finnish is the Language of the Gods in this story, which is why their names are in that language

Those are some of the reasons I love Juma. Of course, I almost never talk about her so I doubt anyone has strong feelings one way or another about her, but if you do have other things you like about her, feel free to add them!

Juma Discovery
