i'm playing the beta test server for moonlit oath (huayishan) and the story is so good omg??? though i'm not fond of the en voice acting because it's so stiff so i'm using the original cn voice

love at first sight with kui by the way because Look At That 😳

we're petting his cat who coincidentally has the same name as us (xiao hua) and He Said That..... RAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

this hurts so much though because he has a tragic past....... apparently, the sunflower field we're in right now is just an illusion of his past that he treasured so much. the sunflower field was made by his mother when he was a kid but sadly, his mother died bc of she got washed away in the shore(?) and his father was an alcoholic drunkard and kui was being abused by him when he was a kid until he now he still have scars........

then he met xiao hua (the little cat) when he sneak outside just to get away from his father and xiao hua became his whole world 🥹

BUT....... this is the part i hate the most it tearse apart...... his alcoholic father was beating him up one day and xiao hua defended kui by blocking so she died by the hands of his abusive father......

kui went outside and attempted to bury xiao hua but he couldn't do it and he was just numb inside because the only light of his life (xiao hua) were taken away from him......

to the point when the island he was in got sunk and the sunflower field went into ruins including xiao hua....... no matter he tried to conemct with other people in the other island, he still felt so numb because xiao hua was gone.....

reading this part hurts me so much LAWDDDDDDD

he went back to time and recreate his cherished memory (the sunflower field + xiao hua being alive) and he just stay there.........

after reading his biographies, it seems like he died(?) and now back being alive??? i think........ though kui seems to remember everyone except for us....... GULPS (i love the angst so much)
