So What Happened?

Alright, it’s time to let the cat out of the bag. Nathan Matthews didn’t really ‘put a pin the map’ and happen up Havensdale Valley, Connecticut to build his new restaurant. No, Nathan had been researching Havensdale before he ever showed up on our doorstep. At first, it was strange, overheard, conversations in his New York locations. Then it was unbelievable and fantastical rumours. Slowly, surely and piece by piece, Nathan put the story together.

Something big, something supernatural, was going to happen in that town and Nathan had decided he was going to be a part of it. More seriously, a part of defending it. No, he didn’t have the details and he didn’t have an exact date, but if he’d learned one thing, it was to be prepared. Unbeknown to his customers, hidden in every nook and cranny of il Piacere were weapons to defend against supernaturals.

Having grown up in a lavish lifestyle, Nathan had trained in various combat styles, archery, fencing, horseback riding and more. In a way, he’d been trained like any bloodline hunter might have been-- just a little fancier. In the end, it was a good thing that he was. When Founder’s Day hit, Nathan knew that he had to fight.

Here’s the thing... The good guys don’t always win, right away. Those who survived had to adapt. It didn’t long for Nathan to hook up with the underground Resistance, using his refurbished, reinforced basement to help train recruits. More importantly, training humans on how to defend themselves against the supernatural. He does all he can to help the fight while keeping everyone’s heads on their shoulders.

Nathan Matthews will take risks, he’ll cause trouble and he’s not afraid to get a little bloody now for the cause. 100% ready to rumble!!

Hey i have a question about your system, if you answered alreay or dont wanna its all good.

Just know that seeing your love for your partner is really fun for me.

So my question is: how many people/ who are the ones you know in your system and is Nathan (your partner) also a person who has DID or are they a part if your system? (Im so sorry if i missunderstood)

It's totally fine to ask! I'm glad seeing my constant talking about Nathan makes people somewhat happy because...it's kinda all I feel like I do lol

In my system, before I knew I was a system, I was only aware of three other 'voices' in my head. Now, I know that there's 21 of us and that's probably all. There's Kanai and Keiyona, our co-hosts. Then there's Acotus, Mars, Mashuli, Sigourney, Dionysus, Noel, Aven, Mafuyu, Rui, Zelda, Yuri, Storm, Asra, Ivory, Adelaide, Lucien, Saffron, Cybil, Tye, and Azazel! Only Kanai and Keiyona use this blog, however.

Nathan is a physically separate person! I call them my boyfriend (Nathan) and also my partner system (every other alter who isn't Nathan) because they're also a system and they're the one who made me realize what those voices actually were. They're over at @fang-emblem, my absolute beloved!!! Perfect little guy, my scrungly ♡

Paige is just slightly below the national average height at the time the bombs fell, standing at 5′4″. Post-war she actually fits right in, considering humanity has gotten a little shorter with more scarce resources, and in her armor regularly gets mistaken for a man. August 2019 - Lisbon, Portugal (an excerpt from Nathan’s journal)

What will my life be if I don’t become a better man? Is my destiny to stay in this darkness? My friends say it’s not and I want everything to believe them. I’m tired of settling for the idea of being hardwired to be sad and distant. I’m tired of wallowing in my own nothingness, in only dreaming but never actualizing my thoughts. I don’t want to be some writer who only gets noticed once he’s passed and some random person unearthed the writings I could never share with the world. I want to be great. I want to be a man worth being proud of, a provider, a lover, a deep thinker, a person who can be loyal and persistent. I want to be able to show up, I want to be able to be someone that I feel like I know. That I can look in the mirror and love. I want good things. Happy things. Lovely things. I want to not hide when things get hard, I want to not run when I get overwhelmed. I want to be confident, stronger. 

But more than anything, I can say with assurance, that for the first time in my life, I want to live.

In the eight weeks that I’ve gotten to know you, I’ve taken the time to write down the things I have grown to really like about you.  So here are (just some) of the reasons, I want to marry you.

When I don’t have a birthday on file for a character, I usually go with the date of which I first published any material for them. In Paige’s case, that would be May 16th, and Nathan would be April 5th. [in this case the materials being very old sketches relating to the original story they were from before I threw them into Fallout XD]

For those who care about that sort of thing, that would make Paige a Taurus and Nathan an Aries.
