at first, he's completely in denial about his feelings for you! he buried them deep down inside of him, ignoring them for the longest time. and even when they resurfaced, saki still denied his feelings for you

hotaru on the other hand feels incredibly guilty about her feelings for you! she felt like she was betraying saki by liking someone else! he should've been the only one she loved, yet suddenly you were there!

when hotaru confesses her feelings for you to saki, she ends up crying and apologizing. though that confession makes saki realize that perhaps he doesn't have to deny his feelings for you, given that hotaru and he feel the same!

saki comforts hotaru, before assuring her that she doesn't need to feel guilty. since both of them have feelings for you, why not act upon them?

saki and hotaru slowly befriend you, with saki occasionally hinting at wanting to be more than just friends with you!

he's also the one that eventually asks you to join the relationship!

saki and hotaru are both fierce lovers! they love you and each other with every fiber in their body and always put each other above themselves!

everything they do is to make each other happy! they can't be happy, if one of you isn't! all three of you need to enjoy something, otherwise nobody can!

saki almost never proposes date ideas, often letting hotaru or you decide where you want to go! hotaru almost always wants to go out and eat something, but the rest is always up to you! as long as you stop by a cafe or restaurant, she's happy! and as long as she's happy, so are saki and you!
