"WENT DOWN IN HISTORY" for everybody, but Tiama is most curious about Anhe

If A’rihnn were to go down in history, it would be much the same way as his ‘true end’- he’d be an adventurer of repute, who many looked up to for his daring acts of heroism and realm-saving bravery. The difference? He’d not be around much anymore, having left to seek out more.

Charlotte would go down as a singer and dancer of amazing talent. Mysterious as she is ravishingly beautiful, the only tales of those who got close to her state that she was amazing beyond words, and they’d give near every gil they had for a chance at another night.

Ransetsu would be a hero of his homeland. Having fought bravely against Garlean oppression, local threats, and infighting alike, the tall, strong, stoic Raen who fought with the fury of a raging tempest would be told in stories to inspire and instill bravery. Despite being a poet, however, he would not be around to tell these stories...

Anhe’s legacy would come in a similar way to her mother’s- that is, she would be a famed teacher of magics. Anhe defies traditionally modern thaumaturgy via her techniques- though she claims herself to be one, the way she casts works a bit differently, and allows her to channel all the elements into destructive, but unique, ways. Never intent to let herself keep still, she would offer her knowledge to those who would listen and are pure of intention. Magic is passion, passion is the heartbeat of life. She’d want to see people with that same flame.

What does your character think of the Twelve? Do they pledge themselves to one of them, worship all of them equally, or not worship any of them at all? Why or why not? What do they think of the different gods?

A’rihnn views the gods as...well. Gods. They’re not here, so...eh. If there’s any he connects to in particular, though, it’s Oschon, the Wanderer. He was born under His sign, and the wanderlust is strong in A’rihnn.

Charlotte does not care and would not care if you paid her to. No gods- only men.

Ransetsu has no attachment or care for the Twelve in the least. He’s Doman- the Eorzean gods mean nothing to him.

Anhe’s belief in the Twelve is shaky, at best. She doesn’t put much stock into beings that have never helped her before...and never seem to help anyone. Ironically, the young woman with terrible luck in life was born under Nymeia, the Spinner of Fate...and she loathes this goddess almost as much as Nald’tthal, patron saint of the city she was born in, shaped by, and treated as less than nothing within.

Ransetsu's true end

The scene is in Doma, during the uprising and reclaiming of his homeland. Ransetsu, having finally settled affairs in Eorzea, left his wards behind, travelled across the sea once more to come to his home- and fight for it tooth and nail.

As with every war, sacrifices must be made. Not everyone comes back alive- and none unscathed. Ransetsu himself would suffer no small amount of injuries- despite his ever-vigilant training, it is highly likely he would lose something important. An arm or hand from the cut of a Garlean blade, perhaps an eye from a stray bullet. But he would not let this slow him down.

As the efforts to rebuild Doma proceed, those under his watch would return. Safe and sound under the supervision and care of those suited to it, his katana and naginata would be taken up once more- the life of the warrior-poet provides for no rest. There is still work to be done.

But his home is free.

🍰 - Someone who Loves Food

A small chuckle rumbles in A’rihnn’s chest. “Twelve above, that’s about everyone that comes into contact with me. I’m a damn good cook, and I know it- and make sure folk eat. Red- that is, Lorelei- never turns down a meal I make her.”

🍼 - A Child (Theirs or Not) 

A small scoff comes from dark painted lips, and Charlotte merely crosses her arms. “Thankfully, I’ve the pleasure of not needing to interact with many children. I’ll be kind to them, certainly- but I’ve no desire to tend to one.

👋 - A Friend 

Ransetsu raises a hand to his scaled chin, red eyes shutting in contemplation. “It has been too long since I have seen any I would dub ‘friend’. My closest fellows still labor in Doma- the men I trained, fought, and worked alongside. We protected our village from harm, us brothers-in-arms.” A pause, before he speaks again. “I should like to know if they yet live.”

🍀 - Someone Lucky 

“Someone…lucky?” This question seems to baffle the young woman, and a hand rises to the side of her head, scratching gently. “Well…I mean, I’ve never known any to have particularly good fortune- I suppose I’d have to say Rommie, since luck always seems in her favor.” Blinkblink. “At least, I think so?”

Mist for all of them!

Mist: Do you like fairytales? 

A’rihnn:

“Well enough.” Slowly do the lancer’s shoulders roll, in a shrug. “A story’s a story, y’know? Some got the truth, some are just fun.”

Charlotte:

“I’ve little time for such things, but as a young girl- oh, how I adored those tales.” A hand moves beneath the singer’s chin, and her eyelids flutter. “But, not anymore.”

Ransetsu:

“There was a time, not so long ago, where I was the tellers of such stories. Alas. That time has passed.”

Anhe:

“Oh yes, very much so! I like all kinds of stories, really, and faerie tales are pretty high among them...”

Talkin’ about fightan gaems with friends, went on wikis, came across this.

Can’t believe I forgot about this theme. I love Yoshimitsu.

And it works well as a theme/battle song for my character Ransetsu Tachikake, too.

📰- Does your muse like to read the news?

A’rihnn doesn’t unless he’s around when something happens, or if he’s really bored. The news isn’t interesting to him, and he’ll figure out what happens eventually anyway.

Charlotte keeps up to date with current happenings around where she’s based, but usually doesn’t delve into international affairs.

Ransetsu keeps up with news surrounding his home- whatever he can hear, anyway- and his people, but otherwise doesn’t much care.

Anhe doesn’t like to read about all the terrible things that happen- and that’s usually what the news is full of.
