I should not have to see the most exorsexist shit on my "hehe trans people making fun of their own oppression" subreddit. Like that sub went transmedicalist real fast during my "Reddit Hiatus"(which I should get back on ew) and I don't know why? I'd hate to tell you that trans people are not oppressed by nonbinary people (or like trans people as a whole) who don't transition (medically at least) for whatever reason. I get the point that the OP was making (that saying that sex can't change because of HRT is wrong). but I don't think that she needed to throw nonbinary people under the bus like that? Because I know plenty of Milquetoast normy binary trans people who say the same shit! But you don't see me making posts blaming them for my oppression.

This is very much a vent and probably poorly worded I am just very tired.

Some subreddits are really helpful. Decent response time, people genuinely trying to provide useful responses, etc.

And then there’s r/hibiscus. Why have ID and Help flairs/tags if they don’t get any attention?? I had to post my id help request Twice to get Any response.

reddit is a “special place” xD tbh tho I think all the various corners on the internet are as bad on some level, but reddit does tend to draw in the circlejerk pseudo intellectual type.. not to say the expanse sub is like that tho. it’s still small enough that the worst trolls seem to be vacant.. for now.

Sometimes I go for a hot minute on Reddit without any casual unpleasantness and I think to myself “Hey, this ain’t so bad”, then I hit one nasty ass thread that shows up for no reason in the middle of a completely unrelated content and I once more confront reality.

Surfing and Mercantile work got posted on Reddit before I could get on to it. You can still go upvote it and stuff though, I haven't got the energy to care about reposting, plus it was sourced anyway #godzillanoise #nightnight
