I am, once again, making a blog update. Making promises I probably won’t keep and bold statements, and setting up my unattainable goals. Or maybe this will be the one that changes everything (look, it even has a header).
First of all, I’m officially on summer break, and hopefully that means getting to work on something without interruption or guilt. Until January 15th, at least, I will take the time for recreational purposes, as well as hobbies.
It’s my favorite time of the year. I really love the holidays, as you will see in the next few days. In real life I don’t show it much, because no one enjoys it like I do, so I turn my blog into a holiday extravaganza. Yes, that means it’s time for another “Holiday Special”, coming to you starting December 20th and lasting until January 1st. This is my third such special, and it’s usually my most proud moment of the year.
Guess what? SNTM is getting a reboot! As I said before, I had to consider what to do with this. Some things will stay the same, but I’m making changes, including a bit of a clean slate. All those who are deactivated or inactive will be exiting the show. Now, I won’t retcon the whole thing. My friends who helped me get here will always be part of it and will stay on promotional art, credits and cast page. But I can’t keep working with judges who aren’t giving out scores or comments, or contestants whose makers are no longer here. Keep an eye out for news about this project.
PS: Shoutout to @ladybugsimblr who is my biggest supporter. I would probably have ditched this project if I wasn’t excited about your involvement. Thank you so much!
On the storytelling front:
The Emerson Legacy will be heavily featured on the Holiday Special and will be back soon.
I’ve been working on a short story, but I decided to postpone it for a bit. Don’t know how long, but it’s coming.
Destiny and The Luibhghort Chronicles are on hiatus, but still very much alive.
Any stories not mentioned here can be considered cancelled.
Well, that’s it! I hope I will follow through with all of this. December for me is a month of renewal, relaxing and recharging. And it is my hope it can translate on this blog. Thank you all for sticking around even though I’ve been so inconsistent. I love you all.
