Steter Week starts this Friday!!

We don’t have any hard and fast rules about posting. You can post your works any time during the week (Nov 24-30) regardless of theme/content. We do ask that you use the tag #SteterWeek2017 on tumblr so we can share all the awesome things you make. If you want, you can submit links to your post to the Steter Network here.

If you are posting fic to AO3, we have a collection for that! You can post directly to the collection

or you can post by adding it in the associations of your draft.

Today is the day we share the theme suggestions for this year’s Steter Week!

We had a lot of response to our poll, and want to thank everyone for spreading the word and voicing their opinion on what they’d prefer to see as daily theme suggestions. Without further ado, here they are:

November 24: Season One Rewrite

This could be anything from Stiles getting bitten instead of Scott to Stiles accepting the bite offer from Peter in that infamous parking garage scene. Take season one and rework it how you’d like to have seen it happen, with a Steter twist!

November 25: Established Relationship

Do you want to make a gif set of Stiles and Peter getting married? How about drawing them adopting/having kids? Maybe you want to write about them arguing over mundane domestic issues as they navigate living together. Give us all your established relationship Steter feels.

November 26: Smut

Here’s where you can go all-out creating the steamiest, sexiest Steter fan work you desire: Daddy kink, BDSM, sex pollen, erotic dreams, anything and everything related to Stiles and Peter getting it on.

November 27: Supernatural creature /Fairytale /Mythology AU

We had a tie on these, and couldn’t decide which to use. So we chose all three! What if Peter wasn’t a werewolf, but a vampire instead? How would Snow White work if Stiles were the princess and Peter were the Woodsman? Got a favorite Greek (or Norse or Roman or whatever) mythological tale you’d like to see applied to Steter? Go for it!

November 28: Stiles is pushed out of the pack

Sometimes we just want to see Stiles hurting emotionally and/or physically. What pack is he pushed from? The Hale pack? The McCall pack? The Hale/McCall pack? It’s up to you. What happens after he’s pushed out? What does he do and who does he turn to? Why was he pushed out? This could go as dark as you want or as sweet and hurt/comfy as you like.

November 29: Soulmates, Mates, and Anchors AU

By far the favorites of the theme suggestions, here is where lasting, deep, and abiding love and need come into play. What causes Stiles to become Peter’s Anchor? When did they find out they are each other’s soulmates? Are mating bites your favorite thing ever? Give us your spin on these awesome tropes!

November 30: Dealer’s Choice

None of the theme suggestions catch your fancy? Maybe you have something completely different in mind for Steter week. Space pirates? Gender and/or sexuality exploration? Movie or book crossover? Historical AU?  Create a Steter fan work that makes you happy!

Reminder that these themes are only suggestions for the people who prefer to use them. You can post multiple works on Tumblr/the collection, and it is not required to create something for every day.

Once created and posted your fan work*, please tag it SteterWeek2017 on tumblr so we can find and share every wonderful creation in a round-up post once Steter Week is over. If you’re posting a fic** to AO3, please post to the Steter_Week_2017 collection.

How're we supposed to tag the works for steter week?

Hi!

If you mean on Tumblr, at the bottom of your post you will find a light grey “#tags.” Click that, and you can type in things to use to wrangle your post. For Steter Week, you’ll need to use the hashtag SteterWeek2017 (#SteterWeek2017) because that is the one we are tracking for the post round-up once the week is over.

If you mean on Ao3: when you get to the Post New page, there is a section called “Associations” with an option to “Post to Collections/Challenges.” In that bar, type Steter_Week_2017 and our collection should pop up. Select that collection and continue your post. Once you click “post/update,” the fic will automatically be added to the Steter Week fic collection on Ao3. Because your fic will be in the Steter Week collection, you do not need to tag it as such on Ao3 unless you just want to. We will be able to find your fic through the collection.
