Do y'all remember when pinda was repeatedly asking jaskirat if 'that was the only way' they could bring jasleen back to them? And I'm thinking how it could've meant that pinda, despite having seen how flawed the system is, still had some amount of trust in it. So when he saw what happened to Jaskirat, it became the last nail in the coffin and pinda lost any semblance of trust left in the system.

It really shows how much Jaskirat meant to him.

I have many thoughts about Part 4 Kakyoin and one of them is he develops an almost parental attachment to Okuyasu.

He doesn’t mean for it to happens but one day the two are just talking by chance and Kakyoin, being a research person for SPW and nosy guy, finds out about Okuyasu’s housing situation. He wants to help the kid but Oku won’t accept it (lots of baggage there) so he just

Keeps an extra eye on him. And it grows into a parernal/mentor attachment. Okuyasu would maybe be the same way; going to Kakyoin when in desperate need of advice (he already asked Tonio)
