Thirty minutes before the start of a work day where I have very little on my plate so far, first truly flexible day in a while, my boss messages to ask if I "want to" do something much harder with a very tight deadline.

Somehow it doesn't feel like "no" is a real option, so I'm more sure why it's phrased as a question.
