in the beginning of their relationship, arthur is possessive and jealous and gets annoyed at the smallest bit of attention merlin gives anyone that isn’t him. but after arthur realizes just how devoted merlin is to him? he never doubts merlin’s love, he never fears that someone could steal him from him. he sees merlin compromise his own morals and stand against his own friends for arthur and arthur is just like Oh. because merlin is completely and utterly his. there’s quite literally no one else for either of them.

Okay, I'm going to say something that might not make sense outside of my head, and also might get me booed, but: I have seen so much talk about the nature of the Robby and Samira relationship, both in canon and in fanfiction, and whether it's a father-daughter relationship, or something potentially weirder and more psychosexual, or whatever have you. And while this invites a whole conversation of the nature of mutually exclusive readings that nonetheless exist simultaneously, including within the same person's frame of reference, and relationships are far, far more complicated than the discrete categories they're often lumped into, I think perhaps the only way I can describe Robby and Samira specifically is is...they are father and daughter in the same way that Jack and Meg White are brother and sister. Which is to say, not, but also, yes.

Interesting Thought: If Chloe is meant to be "The Worst™", then why "PenalTeam" has titular Akumatized Villain being treated as "very dangerous" (and Ladybug behaving as if all of her "tactical skill" was "drained away", until climax).

Like, they could have PenalTeam be defeated extremely quickly, and then Shadow Moth himself (in his lair) claiming that akumatizing Chloe was "waste of time" (bonus points if he added that "I should Akumatized Mr Pigeon instead" afterwards), instead of his usual "You won this time, Ladybug. Next time, I will be one on top" arrogant monologue (that he does in every episode, after his "Akuma of The Week" is defeated by Miraculous Team)

The show just can't make up its mind on whether Chloe should be a threat to justify the hate or be pathetic cause they'dbe damned if Chloe does anything good even if its being a villain.
