NV and HD

 I just looked at my tumblr stats and it would seem I have made 56 posts, this being the 57th.

56 is an interesting number being that it is the number of NV, Nuit the goddess of Infinite space and stars. 56 is also the reverse of 65 which is commonly known as the number of ADNI, a term used for the Holy Guardian Angel meaning “Lord”. 65 being the solar force, and 56 being the stellar force, or perhaps more precisely, the infinite light out of which all manifestation pours.

More interesting is that HD- Had, Hadit, Nuit’s consort equates to 9. Hadit is a single manifestation of Nuit and the core of every star, the True Self, the divine within humanity. When you join NV and HD together you arrive at 65, Adonai. The Lord is a manifestation of Nuit and is at the core of yourself, your Self being much bigger than you probably think it is. One way to think of this is summarised in one of the Thelemic Holy Texts, Liber LXV Cap 1.,

“Be not contented with the image.

I who am the image of an image say this.

Debate not of the image saying Beyond! Beyond!

“One mounteth unto the crown by the moon and the sun, and by the arrow and by the foundation, and by the dark home of the stars from the black Earth.”

Further still, 56/65= 5+6= 11. 11 being the central number of magic within Thelema. The formula of 11 is embedded in the numbers 5 and 6 and is an expression of unity, 5 representing the pentagram and the world of elements- the microcosm and 6 representing the hexagram and the macrocosm. The union of Man with God. This formula is further exemplified in the formula of the eleven lettered word ABRAHADABRA in which Had, the central part of one’s being as explained above is in the centre, the five A’s representing the Pentagram or ‘pentalpha’ and the 6 consonants representing the macrocosm and Hexagram. I like to envision the formula as a circle, which is in the continual expression of the word. There are other mysteries contained in this formula, but I don’t wish to comment on them here or now.

As Hadit’s chapter in the book of the law states:

“ My number is 11, as all their numbers who are of us.”

I like to read that as every being who is of Nuit and Hadit is literally of them, i.e. comprised of them NV + HD = 65, 6 + 5 = 11.
