Oh my gosh! Enta! Did you see this coming? I thought Enta might get turned into a Kappa zombie but I didn’t think he’d get kap’ed like that. What do you think his last line to Kazuki meant, I found them confusing. Thanks for your hard work!
I had avoided all spoilers until about 10 minutes before the episode aired when I checked a discord anime spoiler chat. My mind was so set on the stream that was about to begin that I completely forgot that the episode had been pre-screened and spoilers had leaked. I saw one comment about deceased characters and another mentioned Enta so I knew something would happen to him. Then when Reo took out his gun and pointed it towards Kazuki I thought it was quite obvious it would parallel his scene with Mabu with Enta jumping in front of Kazuki.
All that aside, I’ve been semi prepared for a character to pass away, or to seemingly pass away before getting rescued somehow. I don’t think Enta actually dies here, based on Reo and Mabu’s comments as well as the next episode synopsis. If he does, I expect him to get back again somehow and I really hope that happens because I can’t mourn for him with this mindset and if it turns out he has died it’ll mess with me.
Enta tried to tell Kazuki he hates him. Probably in order to alleviate Kazuki’s pain, but also his own. Kazuki treated him so horribly, yet he can’t make himself hate Kazuki or even tell him that he does as a lie.
