Decided to draw my interpretations of the weavers the weavenests were named after, but I didn't feel like drawing them digitally, so enjoy these sketches.
Atla - The Weaver of Time: One of the oldest weavers, alongside the First Sinner. Unlike her older sister, she was extremely insistent on upholding her and the other weavers' status and keeping the pilgrims of Pharloom subjugated. She sanctioned the creation of Eva and the imprisonment of the First Sinner. The most tyrannical of the weavers.
Karn - The Weaver of the Wormways: Sent to the outskirts of Pharloom to ensure no bug was allowed to escape the Kingdom. She was basically the lone border control of the entire country. She eventually became very vengeful, feeling betrayed and abandoned by her own kin. Karn and Absolom were the only weavernest weavers who mummified themselves and willingly provided Hornet their power.
Cindril - The Weaver of Far Fields: The fastest bug in all of Pharloom and a cartographer who mapped out the entirety of Pharloom for the weavers. When the weaver's attempt to defeat GMS proved pointless, she was asked to map out every possible route to neighboring kingdoms that the remaining weavers could escape to. She was also the weaver who designed the Silkspeed Anklets.
Murglin - The Weaver of Bilewater: The most skilled engineer among the weavers. She was hidden away in Bilewater, in a secret weavenest, known only to Atla and the other high-ranking weavers of the Citadel. There, she was tasked with designing a weaver weapon strong enough to kill or at least incapacitate Grand Mother Silk. However, Murglin never managed to bring the tool back to Atla. She was attacked by the Stilkin while attempting to deliver it. She was mortally wounded, and the tool was ruined in the process.
Absolom - The Weaver of the Abyss: The weavers had discovered the Abyss below Pharloom, and the Void that thrived within it. Due to its destructive nature, the weavers believed they could harvest it and use it against their mother. Absolom, the most talented weaver when it came to ascension and descension using her silk, was tasked with studying the Void and containing it. However, she was poisoned due to void exposure and died at the bottom of the world, cold and alone. She mummified her body, waiting for another weaver to arrive and bind her strength, in the hopes that they could escape with their life.
Before we go any further, allow me to introduce you the Weaver Gang. ( They have been growing on me lately and it's so much fun doodle them) They are not related by any mean except Absolom and Keelal who are twin sisters. They are more like a found family for me
My hc of their age is according to this list:
Atla (First Sinner) is the "Weaver of Time "
Cindril, weaver who create Silkspeed Anklets
Karn, probably experimented with Life Blood - in Wormway )
Camora is the "Weaver of Healing" -in Mossy Grotto
Askar, her husk can be found in underwork but she's from mt.fay
Keelal is the "Weaver of the Path" -in Shellwood
Absolom, she lived in Abyss
Murglin, gun :)
PS: I messed up Keelal name SO BAD, if you saw any mistake on her name, just know that it's my full intention to make fun our extrovert weaver
Oda confirms in an SBS that this lion zombie has Absolom's face, so of course his serial number is 69
OC's in Sea Serpent AU
Smash or Pass: Absolom
