5th and 6th of May entries for Hollow Knight art month: Mother & Grand Hunt.
The 2nd image is pretty self-explanitory, but the 1st image can be pretty confusing to people who aren't insane like me.
I have a head-canon that the dead pinstress in the Putrified Ducts is Groal's mother/sister/guardian, and I had a feeling everyone would be drawing Herrah or White Lady or smth for the 5th, so I decided to shake things up.
If you want to join in on the fun, then go check out the rules on the official website of the art challenge below:

Artwork of Hornet, the Pale King, and their royal courts.
The part of the image showing off Hornet's own Great Five Knights, I used actual game assets for the characters, but I drew the background and edited the images myself. Inspired by this amazing artwork:

To Bind Our Echoes That We May Be Whole
The apocalypse has come and gone, and against all odds, Pharloom remains standing. The time has come for Hornet to return to Hallownest, accompanied by friends and allies: Shakra hopes to explore the mythical land beyond the wastes, and properly lay to rest a member of her own tribe; Lace fears unraveling without the aid of a Weaver, while contending with the immensity of a future free of her mother’s threads; and the Green Prince lives only only to spite the Citadel, passively seeking a more honorable end than might be found in the rubble of his homeland. Meanwhile, Hornet returns from Pharloom with magic and knowledge that might aid in the slow recovery of Hallownest and Deepnest–and perhaps offer the chance to call home the sibling she once thought lost to her forever.

A brief look into Lace's mind! She is so very, very normal, and coping in healthy ways. We also learn a little more about what Hollow has been up to since the end of the first game... (They didn't mean to wake her, but they weren't expecting her to perceive them either.)
At any rate! Thank you all for your patience. It has been an incredibly chaotic couple of weeks, and your continued interest has really helped keep me sane.

Transcript:
I like the idea of Hollow "usurping" Radiance as the god of dreams following her death. They were one and the same for decades, if not centuries, and they used their mind to contain her. The idea of them gaining control over the Dream Realm actually makes sense.
I was bored. Decided to draw a Pale King and baby Hornet comic... hope y'all don't mind the analog art
Please ignore Hornet holding onto the wrong hand in the final panel, I'm bad at art.
Decided to draw my interpretations of the weavers the weavenests were named after, but I didn't feel like drawing them digitally, so enjoy these sketches.
Atla - The Weaver of Time: One of the oldest weavers, alongside the First Sinner. Unlike her older sister, she was extremely insistent on upholding her and the other weavers' status and keeping the pilgrims of Pharloom subjugated. She sanctioned the creation of Eva and the imprisonment of the First Sinner. The most tyrannical of the weavers.
Karn - The Weaver of the Wormways: Sent to the outskirts of Pharloom to ensure no bug was allowed to escape the Kingdom. She was basically the lone border control of the entire country. She eventually became very vengeful, feeling betrayed and abandoned by her own kin. Karn and Absolom were the only weavernest weavers who mummified themselves and willingly provided Hornet their power.
Cindril - The Weaver of Far Fields: The fastest bug in all of Pharloom and a cartographer who mapped out the entirety of Pharloom for the weavers. When the weaver's attempt to defeat GMS proved pointless, she was asked to map out every possible route to neighboring kingdoms that the remaining weavers could escape to. She was also the weaver who designed the Silkspeed Anklets.
Murglin - The Weaver of Bilewater: The most skilled engineer among the weavers. She was hidden away in Bilewater, in a secret weavenest, known only to Atla and the other high-ranking weavers of the Citadel. There, she was tasked with designing a weaver weapon strong enough to kill or at least incapacitate Grand Mother Silk. However, Murglin never managed to bring the tool back to Atla. She was attacked by the Stilkin while attempting to deliver it. She was mortally wounded, and the tool was ruined in the process.
Absolom - The Weaver of the Abyss: The weavers had discovered the Abyss below Pharloom, and the Void that thrived within it. Due to its destructive nature, the weavers believed they could harvest it and use it against their mother. Absolom, the most talented weaver when it came to ascension and descension using her silk, was tasked with studying the Void and containing it. However, she was poisoned due to void exposure and died at the bottom of the world, cold and alone. She mummified her body, waiting for another weaver to arrive and bind her strength, in the hopes that they could escape with their life.
Divine Yuri... don't ask why I made these, I thought it'd be funny, but now I genuinely ship it.
What should this ship even be called? I'm not sure if it HAS a name, so... ig I'll give it a shot. I like Radsilk. Radsilk/Silk Moth. If you can think of something better, feel free to put your idea forth.
I like JJK. I like Silksong. And I hate Savage Beastfly. And so this abomination was produced from my bizarre brain chemistry and love for art: Savage Sukunafly!! ... vs the knight and Hornet. (don't ask how Beastfly is healing without silk or soul, they're just built like that)
The original panel contains some pretty big SPOILERS from the manga, so watch out for that if you're not caught up.
I LOVE FAYFORN!!! And since I'm obsessed with her, I decided to come up with what she could possibly be like as a boss fight (please Team Cherry, we need a godhome DLC, MAKE THIS HUMBLE TRANS-GIRL'S DREAM A REALITY)
Eram redesign
(christ, I need to make a new watermark)
I decided to move away from the popular idea that he's played by Ramb, and chose to just make him a unique darkner.
In the light-world he's a candle, due to him tossing firaballs all over the fuggin place.
This is my first Tumblr post, but who cares. Let's focus on the art- [MINOR DELTARUNE SPOILERS... IG] I was watching ronbrazy's Neo Woody Theory video, and after denying the theory for the last year or so, it finally won me over a bit. So I decided to design my own interpretation for what a Friend Inside Me darkner could look like in Chapter 5 based on that video.
(The watermark was made for my Discord account, and I'm too lazy to make a new one)
Well, they're actually two darkners. The one to the right is the main cowboy themed one, named Flatfoot. He's a puppet originating from the old cowboy show Tenna says Asgore used to watch back in the day.
Despite his creepy appearence, he's actually a pretty cool dude, and just wants the theater to do well to appease his boss.
The one to the left is his boss, or rather the Friend Inside him: Zeit. He's the television found in the flower shop, and it was the original owner of the TV World's theater, before he was replaced by Tenna.
His massive body is hidden beneath the theater, only letting strands and tendrils slip out through the cracks in the floorboards to puppeteer his actors - like Flatfoot.
He holds a bit of a grudge for being replaced, but is still very much happy to have visitors in his newly built theater. Unlike Tenna, he doesn't retaliate against our heroes over trying to leave his theater, but over the fact they let his old one be abandoned by Tenna and his crew.
He calls the Fun Gang a blight on culture and nostalgia, and forces Flatfoot to attack them until he's defeated, at which point he tries to take them on himself.
