I just read the absolute worst fic of my life, why do I read Tim fics when I know they have the best potential to make me want to bash my head to a wall.
Like, thanks buddy, you made me wish literally all of them would die so I could stop wanting to claw my eyes out. Like, haven't been a Jason hater a day in my life, but suddenly I wished he'd be hit by a truck. And maybe that's not so surprising, to come out of a Tim fic like that, but the fact that it made me wish Dick would also get shot by a million bullets should tell you enough about how much this fic upset me. Bruce also deserved to see his sons tear each other apart in the most violent way possible. Anything would have been better than that fuckass narrative that couldn't decide what the fuck it was.
Actually, maybe the real point of the writing was to elevate the frustrations of the reader to the point where you'd feel the same desire as Tim to kill somebody. That has to be it. I refuse to believe somebody can miss the target of a satisfying climax this thoroughly otherwise. It would take shocking talent to miss the mark of reconciliation this badly. Like, I clicked in for the reconciliation you wrote, and somehow you made me hope they'd kill each other. How does that even happen.
Kept reading on the off chance the ending could have saved it, but why did I bother. Time of my life can never get back. Never felt this robbed. The evil Cass arc was easier to read than this.
