I don’t know why you were in my dream last night but you were;

my subconscious needs closure.

Otherwise why would you be in my dream asking for me back?

So,

I’m finally over you.

After just over a year, I’ve accepted things.

I just saw a picture of us 4 years ago when we were nothing but friends.

And this feeling hit me like a ton of bricks.

Maybe we were supposed to be something more;

But that story wasn’t written for us.

New beginnings and old memories

july 1st 2018.

its 10.35pm and now I'm reminiscing.

I’ve tried for a year to forget about you.

every time i turn my head something reminds me of you.

it reminds me that maybe it shouldn't have gone that far.

or maybe i should've let us go further.

either way.

and i still regret the what ifs and maybes.
