His eyes flashed and flickered as he gripped tightly onto the anon, tearing some of his clothes as his knees buckled under his weight, his whole body cut loose as if someone had cut the strands of a puppet and landed harshly onto the solid ciment. He clinged to the handle of the knife, coughing out more blood miserably. His breath was laboured and faint as he searched for something that could maybe, just maybe, save him from his horrible fate*

What's easier knowing he could die because of you? Or knowing that he could easily walk out on you. That he's just using you because his little brother left him. He's using you to fill the void, the words saying he cared are nothing but lies, meant for just Sam, not you. Not ever you. Just Sam.

She could see it in Dean’s eyes when he looked at her, hear it in his voice. “He’s upset about Sam, that’s all." Jezebel didn’t even bother hiding the bitter edge in her voice, but she wasn’t angry at him for it. No, she was angry at herself.          “But he needs it." She practically threw up her hands in frustration. “What do you expect me to do, leave him? Sam has always come first to him." She laughed, hollow and humorless.          “Want to know what was at the end of his suicide letter? Want to know what his last effective words to me were?" She was practically hysterical now, tears streaming down her cheeks, but she didn’t care. “Take care of Sam. Take care of Sam. Even when they weren’t a couple, Sam always came first. That’s how it always has been, that’s how it always will be."          This was it, the emotions she always kept buried, afraid to admit she even felt them sometimes. This was the bitterness of a person who came in second place. The malice of someone who knew that the one they loved could never care for them back with the same magnitude. This was the sorrow of a woman who was too weak to let go and knew it. This was the anger of a person who wanted to hate the one they loved and the one who commanded their lover’s attention, but couldn’t bring themselves to.                  No, she could only hate herself.

And she would want to say goodbye to them, at least. And apologize. For everything.          "If I had to pick one, then Dean." It wasn’t because she didn’t love Dean as much as Sam; in fact, it was the other way around. If Sam died, and Dean found out that she could have saved him… she would never be forgiven. She would be hated, in fact. And that was something she had grown to fear more than loosing him.          “I made Dean a promise. I intend to keep it for as long as I can."
