Dale was doing a decent job of navigating the sidewalk, despite being surrounded by people who were apparently oblivious to the flow of foot traffic. However, he was walking too fast to stop himself from running directly into someone coming the opposite direction.

"Come on!" He shouted in exasperation as his stack of fliers scattered everywhere. He heard the apology and bit his tongue to stop himself from agreeing with the woman out loud. It wasn't enough to stop a small scoff, however.

"Yeah, well, thanks anyway," He muttered, moving himself out of the way of passing pedestrians.

verse I. A.I.

He was, initially, a perfect duplicate of Seto Kaiba, created by Seto to reside and look after the Kaiba Corp station. Along with the other artificial intelligences. 

He is self sufficient and self aware. Yet this doesn’t stop him from ruminating on his state as a creation. With this, he gained an artificial consciousness of his own. And, the station that he once protected became a prison for him. A consistent reminder of his own inhumanity-- that he’s false.

Despite this, he has no resentment towards Kaiba. He gradually became less of an assistant and more of a friend to Kaiba. His purpose shifted from tending to the station, to caring for Seto.

He gives up his form in order to leave his bird cage with Kaiba, and resides within the recesses of his augmented mind. And is able to essentially possess Kaiba when he sleeps. Wearing his flesh as he roams the mansion at night. 

Can manifest through the Dual Dimension System, and prefers to take the form of the Deep Eyes White Dragon and The Blue Eyes White Dragon. Either that, or he mirrors Kaiba’s form. 

Through observation and study, he’s developed his own personality, separate from Seto’s. Ironically enough, Ai is far more empathetic than Kaiba is himself. 

Is the embodiment of unconditional love and loyalty.

The Morning After | Lukia

Slowly coming to her senses after a long and exhausting night, Emilia couldn't- or didn't want to open her eyes and fully wake up just yet as she found herself wrapped in the familiar scent of her mate and surrounded by his heart beat and breath. The comforting sounds had been missed far too much to rip it away from her in this very moment. Em kept her eyes shut and inhaled the comforting essence, trying to go back to sleep. She barely remebered when she got changed into her PJs nor the shower she apprently took. All she knew for sure was that this had been the first time she was able to sleep ever since their separation - despite everything that happened.

It took her a moment to realize where her hands were - one interlaced with his own and resting on his muscular chest while her free hand was wrapped around his waist, holding him close. And her legs... well ... all entangled with her mate's. Emilia could feel the heat spreading across her cheeks at the thought - and of course- feeling of his body against hers. While this didn't change anything, it was much needed and hurt at the same time. It was all so confusing to the blonde.

Emilia remained silent and tried not to move but she wasn't sure if her quickened heart beat was giving her away and so she eventually decided to snap herself out of this little beautiful nightmare, slowly opening her eyes and sitting up, eyes searching for his as she felt more awkward than ever before. "Morning. " She mumbled just to say something, still trying to figure out how to go about this.

The young female’s brown eyes immediately rolled skyward at Damon’s snarky yet teasing comment about her being a complete nuisance ever since she had been staying most nights at the Salvatore boarding house , only to avoid her dreadful uncle John , whom was now taking up space in the Gilbert residence. Elena wasn’t exactly sure how to feel about the anomalous friendship with the older vampire after everything they had been through in a rather short period of time. “Well, aren’t you just a ray of sunshine in the mornings?” the brunette retorted back to his sarcastic comments that seemed to never come to a halt.

Chiari knew that face, that voice but she couldn't place her, despite the immediate recognition of features. Lack of context, perhaps, and the passing of time. Things from before were tricky sometimes.

"Is that meant to be a joke?" It landed far too hard to be a coincidence, in her mind, but the universe did seem to like to mess with her more often than not, and this woman certainly looked very tangible - not the shimmery essence of a spirit.
