I’m working on a final project for class and it’s on Seti I’s temple at Abydos, and i’m ngl its making me SO nostalgic for this IF…. warrior king born in Avaris, temple shenanigans and Ramesside emphasises on the “Gods of Egypt” (in a non-Amarnan way)? I’ve seen these things beforeeeee 👀
Fun fact, Narmer’s character was heavily inspired by Seti I :)
Abydos is one of my favorite places in the whole world. I was there last month actually, and probably will go back again later, so if you’d like to hear a first-hand experience of the place by yours truly, feel free to write me a private message! ❤️
