If their S/o were a Templar
Request: How would the Assassin's react/cope if their s/o was/is a Templar (I think?)
Note: I'm living. XD
Here ya' go, hope ya' enjoy!
Altaïr:
He felt as if he was being stabbed, right through his heart, he wished you had never said it, it was forbidden and he knew it. You were gone, not dead, but deeply injured, because he couldn't control his anger. Another problem was that you were somewhere in the city, hiding -maybe nearly dead, but his pride and broken trust won't allow him to go after you. Still something in Altaïr wished it never came so far, that he still could trust you, love you, even if it was forbidden.
"Is it ever going back to normal again?"
Connor:
He was bitter and so, so full of sadness, even if he doesn't show it. It was as if being helplessly, Connor questioned his priorities, was it worth losing the person he loved? Still, his mind knew the answer, yes it was, you betrayed him, the whole brotherhood in Boston. Freedom of all was more worth. And you knew the same, so it was no surprise that you actually fled right after you said those words to him. Even thought it felt that, with you gone, was also his humanity gone, still he had a job to fulfill, even if it means to mask his feelings.
"You had chosen this way, so live with the consequences.."
Desmond:
Again, first Lucy and yet you. He didn't need to know your intentions, you still would be a Templar. The animus mixed up his mind, Templars were bad, you are bad, even if you changed side, how could he trust you? Desmond lost nearly everything and what was worser than losing himself? When he looked into your eyes, he didn't saw you, God no, it was never you. You lied to him, betrayed him, stabbed deeper into the wound this whole war had caused. Maybe he would be better of without you, at least you didn't have to die because of him then.
Edward:
He doesn't really follow the rules, so why start now? Edward lost too many loved ones, so he could never end your life just because you saw the world differently than him. Still you could always feel his eyes upon you, you weren't allowed to know where he goes or what business he had, but nothing really changed on his love. It hurted a bit, for both of you, the conversations weren't open anymore, even if you talk over things like wellbeing. It seems like both of you are caged birds, far away from each other and yet in the same room.
"I'm sorry it has to come so far, but be careful, I don't know how many more Assassins will be after you."
Ezio:
His mind was conflicted, you were by him half of his whole life till now. Still he can't decide, Ezio has a creed behind him, all his decisions would have consequences, go after you and break one of the most important rules or leave you, of possibly without hurting you? He didn't have a chance but somewhere inside of him was a small voice screaming at his stupidness. Ezio couldn't replace you, even thought more than a few women would do anything for him, your smile, your laugh, that were the things he craved. So there are a few nights we're he has no other choice than to numb his feelings with alcohol.
"This was one of the ignorantest desicions I ever made."
Evie:
Evie was in an art of shock, you were like one of the last sane people here in London, the one she could tell anything. It hurted still she was proud in some way, that you stood up for what you believed in, even if it was wrong. She tried to ignore the fact that you were once her lover or that she had feelings for you, like her father always said, 'don't let feelings interfere with your job' he was right in her eyes, she made a mistake. Even if, somehow she was glad for that mistakes, for that mistake named you.
"I shouldn't have let this happen in the first place."
Jacob:
He found it funny, thought he should have known it. Personally it could never stop him from loving you, History hat proven that more than once, still Evie tried to change his mind. After all, Templars and assassins were enemies, but in his eyes those titles said nothing about the person that owns them. You wanted order, yes, he knew that, but he also knew that you were against child-work, so why would it stop him? You were bound to your side, and he to his side.
"Don't worry yourself, I'll fix this.."
Authors note;
Altaïr: He would never betray the creed, so I also thought he would choose it over you, if you think about it, it's quite sad..
Connor: This one's practically the creed, I could only see a dead end there, I mean, he still thinks that the Templar killed his clan.
Edward: -
Ezio: He's selfless if it comes to the creed, as sad as it is..
Evie: As I know Evie follows the things her father thaught her, so this was practically the only way it wouldn't seem OOC.
Jacob: He's a little more Mature here, personally bc I think that even such childish boy can make mature decisions.
