Planning Lunaria’s map! 🗺

I thought I’d share with you guys how I made my map for my new island Lunaria!

1. I started off by choosing my map that was the closest fit to the one on the Happy Island Designer website (linked here)

2. I tried my best (and definitely forgot some places to fix) and started placing the houses and some main buildings down such as Able Sisters! I made a better spot for my home as well.

3. I placed down some paths and made some adjustments! I added some scenery at my entrance as well. I really wasn’t sure what I wanted but I just kept going with it!

4. I added almost all the paths I want, and made sure every last building is there. I sorta planned on location for builds but mainly it’s just up to future me!

I’m not exact to the map yet on my island but it doesn’t matter! As long as I like it! And by I’m not done at all. There are still spots I need to fill but I still wanted to share!!!

I’ve had a few requests to share my plans for my island, so here you go! This is my vision for what’s to come (this is a drawing over my current map). It’s pretty close to this now and I’ll post the actual map once I have all my houses moved! I originally had a neighborhood for my villagers, but found that they never explored the rest of the island, hence the plan to spread them out! I’ll show you my neighborhood map and my starting map below the cut!

I never took a picture before I starting moving houses, but all the ones on the beach were in that neighborhood in the SW corner of my island.
