It never fails that when I see that a show I want to attend is sold out, I get sad...until I remember that there are always a few tickets held in reserve for people who need to request accessible seating.
And that I am one of those people who needs to request accessible seating.
You'd think I would've learned by now, at least from when I was able to see Morrissey at what was an otherwise "sold out" show, that when most major venues say a show is sold out, they are only talking about the "regular" seating.
Now I'm not advocating that you should request accessible seating if the show you want to attend is listed as sold out. I'm just offering potentially useful information in case you have a family member who needs accessible seating that you want to surprise with tickets or if you've got your eye on some attractive person who has similar tastes in music or theatre that might be have some issues with mobility, sight, or hearing. I'm just trying to help you win at life here!
