Stuff I Have Broken At Work This Year: A List

Yeah I tend to be accident-prone at work and regularly break things at work. It’s not just clumsiness either but bad luck too. Like it’s happened so often my boss tells me not to touch new stuff when we get it. Thankfully I haven’t broken anything too expensive so far this year, knock o wood. Pretty sure if that were to happen again now I’d really be in for it.

So here we go.

Gotta love that moment you realize that your adhd is why you’re accident-prone. In less than 24 hours I severely bruised my knee by accidentally hitting it on the bottom of a bus seat and got at least a second degree burn on my finger by brushing it against the inside of the oven while taking the temperature of the chicken I made for dinner. Pretty sure both accidents happened because adhd impairs your proprioception (the sense of where your body is in relation to other things in space, it’s what stops you from bumping into things, tripping, slamming things, etc)

I lost...

Got in a knife fight with a canteloupe by accident. Been bleeding about an hour; think it's scabbed up enough to stop now.

I'm alive...

My computer screen cracked the night before last when I tripped over the power cord and sent it flying. Fantastic way to end a Wednesday, amirite? Anyway, the computer is in the shop for approximately the next two weeks and I'm prettt much restricted to my phone, which I hate typing on.

I have a very accident-prone friend who chipped their tooth on a wall (don't ask), so they had to get a filling to fix it. Fast forward 1 year or so and me and my boyfriend are standing outside his house because he owes us some money for a group project thing (not important). He opens the door and as he's talking to us I realize his tooth is chipped again in the same spot. Right before I ask him my boyfriend says, "Did you chip your tooth again, what happened?" He pauses for a moment then says, "Just a bit of advice for you ...... don't, don't kiss that hard." His supermodel girlfriend knocked out his filling while making out with him.

So sorry for the long wait. I had a ton to do even after the entrance exams (which went straight to hell btw, they had totally changed the test’s structure)

Two are songfics and two are kinda AUish. And the fandom is of course Osomatsu-san!

Do you think you could go on with a couple short stories while I try and figure out how to continue AP?
