Life moments these past two months 💫

Well, my internship ended this past Friday and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life. I’m so grateful for the work I got to do and the amazing people I got to do it with. On Friday they offered me a full time position starting in October and I said yes. I can’t wait to start this next chapter of my life!

But since the internship is over, that means I’m back in class until I graduate in May. Because I’ll be back in the classroom I’ve decided to start up another 30dop challenge to keep myself accountable during these last few weeks as senioritis well and truly kicks in.

I’ll be starting my new 30dop tomorrow and I can’t wait to be more active posting on here tomorrow 🥳

Back in the library! I had my 9:30 social psychology class and then went to the library to take an advanced accounting quiz. I made an 80 which is alright. I have an exam in accounting on Thursday and I'm much more focused on getting an A on that exam than on this quiz. After dinner, I went to a study group for the accounting exam and I think if I can get some good studying in tomorrow and before class, on Thursday I can make an A!

Back on campus! I really needed to get some last-minute studying in before I took my accounting quiz so I went to the classroom where I have the class and got some good studying in. I then went back to my dorm and studied a bit more before I took the quiz. I made a 90 which means I only missed one question but I was fairly confident in all my answers so that makes me a little sad but a 90 is not the end of the world and hey that is an A!

My next quizzes/exams (just to be sure I'm on track):

Accounting: Quiz chapter 15 due Sept. 11th; Exam chapters 14,15 on Sept. 13th

Social Psych: Quiz chapters 2,3,4 due Sept. 19th; Exam chapters 2,3,4 on Sept. 22nd

Latin: Exam 1 Sept. 19th

Developmental Psych: Exam chapters 4,5 on sept. 26th

Hey y'all! Back at my desk at my parent's house for the weekend. I've spent most of the weekend hanging out with my parents and working on accounting. The quiz isn't due until Tuesday, but I want to complete it before I return to school tomorrow afternoon. Since being home, I've gotten to study at my favorite coffee shop, play tennis, and watch lots of tv with my parents. Tomorrow will be a pool day with the family followed by taking my accounting quiz and then driving back up to college.

Day 19/100

Not my most glamorous picture but it certainly is the most accurate. Today was very busy and I wasn't able to start studying for my accounting exam tomorrow until midnight tonight. I did get an hour-long study session in during the middle of the day today and I'll be able to study for about an hour and a half before the exam tomorrow. I either have this exam in the bag or I'm absolutely going to fail there is no in-between. Not to mention I have a self-assessment for social psychology due tomorrow before midnight and a surprise Latin quiz on Friday followed by our Latin exam on Monday. I will not be able to take a break until next Monday. But then it just starts up again with another exam next Thursday and the cycle never ends. But this is what I was so excited for all summer so it's hard to be sad or upset about it even as I write this at 2 am knowing I have to get up in 6 hours and knowing I will not be getting a nap in tomorrow. This is what college is and I wouldn't change it for the world.

A different view of studying I call comfy studying. Sometimes I just can't sit at a desk and feel comfortable enough to get work done. So after my roommates had gone to bed last night I sat in our common room and took notes on my accounting textbook for a little while. Yesterday also involved going to Latin and developmental psychology. We did a participation quiz in Latin in preparation for our graded quiz on Friday and I only got a 17/22 on the participation quiz which means I've got some studying to do before Friday. But first accounting!!

Also, happy first day of September!!
